Derelict Ark

Buried deep below Weft is a massive set of ancient arcane ruins currently occupied by a small group of rebels and gods, seeking to regain divinity and re-balance the world from under Xiroth the Marred's rule. Built from the same smooth white metal with intricately etched patterns pulsing with strange energy as other scattered ruins throughout the world. The primary difference between this ancient shuttle and the others is purely in terms of scale and functionality, the Derelict being many times larger and more robust in terms of facilities than other ruins.   The Derelict acts as the primary base of operations for Lifewood Labor, an small underground rebel society.

Purpose / Function

The original purpose of the Derelict is unknown but when rediscovered in recent years by Athen Ligrant and Ome Samayo beneath Weft the pair decided to make use of its facilities as a home base for their personal plans of regaining divinity.

Alterations

As the occupying group has spent time in the ruins they have repaired functionality to a number of rooms and cleaned the wreckage to make it easy to traverse.

Kobold Tunnels

In order to secretly enter the Derelict, the Kobolds of Langly Snaketails Den constructed tunnels below Weft, interfacing with the preexisting storm drains to create a network of hidden passages reaching beyond Weft's gates for members of Lifewood Labor to use.

Living Quarters

A set of rudimentary living quarters has been established for incoming members. Currently a set of rooms with 4 bunks per room are available to members with private offices for leadership and a single large bay to house additional staff and labor, specifically the Kobolds.

Architecture

Many of the walls and surfaces of the Derelict are made of the same or similar smooth metal with intricate etched patterning. Doors seem to move on their own with no door knobs and various desks appear to have levers and interactive consoles with unknown functionality. The only thing that commonly interrupts the intricate etchings along the walls are signs to guide those within to their destination.

History

The true nature of the Derelict is unknown. It was discovered under Weft by Bird Feather, Ome Samayo, and Athen Ligrant during their travels together. According to Athen, the group felt some entity below their feet that called to them. After some difficulties finding their way underground and secretly tunneling their way towards the source of their interest, the hull of the Derelict was partially excavated and eventually established as the base of operations for Lifewood Labor.
