Southern Boundary Decree

Diplomatic action

1564 AM

In the wake of the unequivocal refusal to The Druids' Ultimatum by the human rulers, the Elves, silent supporters of The Druids, took decisive action. In a sweeping turn of events, the Elves withdrew from their embassy in the human capital, marking the cessation of their formal interactions with the humans.   Concurrently, the Elves declared the lands south of the grand dividing mountain range as their sovereign territory, expressly off-limits to human explorers and settlers.

This abrupt departure signified a dramatic shift in the relationship between the two species, turning the page onto a new, uncertain chapter.   Elven scouts posted along the border of their realm, moving with a grace that made them almost invisible, observed human activities, ready to intervene if their decreed boundaries were breached. While they had severed formal relations with human society, the Elves maintained a line of communication with The Druids, who had sought solace in remote hideaways after the breakdown of the negotiations. These clandestine interactions ensured a flow of information between the two factions.   Previous event
