Era beginning/end
As The Black Decay spread across the land, the desperate humans set out on a perilous journey across the unknown seas. With makeshift boats and little provisions, they were willing to take their chances on the water rather than succumb to the deadly disease that had taken so many lives.
About 2000 men, women and children set out to braved the rough seas, facing storms, hunger, and thirst. From the outset there where a clear consensus that if someone showed symptoms of the plague, the entire vessel had to turn around. Some of the boats were forced to turn back, others refused to follow the rules, but where eventually chased away or even sunk by the panic stricken people in other boats. The remaining vessels pressed on, their hope and determination to survive giving them the strength to endure. Finally, after an arduous journey, the boats reached the shores of a new continent. Exhausted and weakened, but relieved to have escaped the grasp of the Black Decay, the 1500 survivors crawled ashore with the few belongings they could fit into the boats. For those left behind, it was believed that there was no hope, and that they would all succumb to the disease. But for those who had made the treacherous journey across the sea, a new chapter had begun. They had a new land to explore, new challenges to face, and new opportunities to thrive. Previous event
