Nimrochith

Those Who Endure in the Marshes

The Marshbound Elves
The third and smallest tribe to emerge from Mindonessë was the Nimrochith, or "those who endure in the marshes". With just 1,200 members, the Nimrochith claimed the vast marshland to the southwest of Tathariel, an area known as Mórinaqua or "black water". Here they build the settlement of Galadithilas. They were known for their resilience and toughness in the face of adversity. Their marshland home was hostile and challenging, and they had to develop a strong sense of self-preservation to survive. They were also resolutely self-reliant, preferring to live apart from the other Elven tribes.
Masters of Marshland Alchemy
They became experts in identifying and cultivating unique plants and fungi that could be found only in the marshes. This gave them a distinct advantage over others as the Nimrochith became true masters of alchemy. Developing a unique knowledge of plants and herbs to create all kinds of remedies and potions. Their skills allowed them to thrive in a land that was inhospitable to most. They understood the interconnectedness of all things and were careful to avoid upsetting the delicate balance of the marshlands. They lived in harmony with the natural world, rather than trying to dominate or conquer it.
Isolation and Self-Sufficiency
Their defensive nature made them mistrustful of outsiders, and they were quick to react with force to any perceived threat. This made them somewhat isolated from the other Elven tribes, but they had little need for outside assistance, as they were self-sufficient and able to provide for themselves. Overall, the Nimrochith were a unique and fascinating group of Elves, with a distinct culture and way of life that set them apart from the other tribes of Tathariel.
Alchemical Tools
  The Thornshell Mortar
Carved from the fossilized shell of a giant marsh snail and lined with obsidian flakes, this mortar is said to retain traces of prior brews—allowing the alchemist to “listen” to the memory of the last mixture before beginning a new one.   The Stirring Bone
Always fashioned from a creature that has perished naturally, the stirring tool must never be made with metal. Aged marshdeer antlers are preferred for their balance and affinity with long-brew elixirs.
