Oveður Clan (O-ve-thur)
The Oveður Clan is one of the five major clans in The Fylkirate of Northmen. They are said to be descended from þurisaz, the god of willpower and honor. The Oveður clan take pride in their heritage as the firstborn's descendants, and were among the first to claim the mantle of Fylkir. Though it has been some decades since the last Oveður Fylkir, they strive to serve their country with distinction, bringing glory and gold on a regular basis.
They have a mild feud with those of the Vågor Clan, disputing that the Vågor's patron deity stole the power of storms from Þurisaz. This is a fact, though the history behind it is complicated.
