Cursemuter

A cursemuter is a person trained in the white occult, and is capable of reversing the effects of curses through one method or another. Sometimes it can be as simple as setting up a curative ritual which cleanses the curse from the person or area. In others, it can be a complicated problem, depending on the level of magic at play. The worst case scenario is extremely dangerous, and involves slaying or sealing the spirit from which the curse's power is sourced.   Some cursemuters are sanctioned by the Arcturian church, and act on their authority. These are often classically trained, spending several years of their lives in temples learning the requisite skills to remove curses and defend themselves against dark powers. Other, more mercenary cursemuters either break away from the church for pay, or have used various texts to teach themselves in white occult matters.
