Historical Details

Background

This code is always in debate, always changing and adapting as the High Captains are consistently tweaking it based on a whole variety of factors.

History

This document is historic in two ways all across Valerick. First off, it made piracy, at least in Mora's national waters, a legal and fully endorsed practice. Secondly, the knowledge that in one nation, slavery was legal as well. Many nations have taken an aggressive stance towards these two things, being vocal with their opinions and sometimes even limiting or refusing to trade with Mora.

Public Reaction

The public overall is exceedingly pleased with this document

Legacy

The biggest legacy of this document, well its a simple matter of trade and economics. Three nations in particular, all on the same coast, refuse to trade with Mora. Those nations are Valewyr, Deepwood and Suranth.
