The Bluefoot Hill Expedition

Carrick
Carrick was a 42-year-old male half orc. He had a wiry build, particularly for his race, and short dark hair. He and Forrester put together and led the expedition, after discovering what they believed to be the entrance to Yula's Folly in the Bluefoot Hills on Ulna. He and Forrester had been adventuring partners for several years prior to this expedition. His determination and single-mindedness had proven beneficial to his adventuring, but made him difficult to get to know and was often not particularly well liked by colleagues other than Forrester.
Forrester
Forrester was a 37-year-old male human. Just shy of handsome, with curly brown hair and a couple of gold teeth (souvenirs of previous adventures), he was the more approachable leader of the expedition. He shared Carrick's keenness, but had a warmer personality. He was less able to hide his emotions, both positive and negative, and often acted as voice of reason and compassion in the face of his partner's tunnel vision.
Murray
Murray was a 22-year-old human female with a background of petty crime and a penchant for shiny things. She wore her long dark hair in a high ponytail, and as much gold trim and jewellery as was practical for someone who made a living out of being sneaky. Happy to make conversation with anyone and take chances on risky plans, she was nonetheless comfortable with not being liked and always put her own safety and wellbeing first. Of the other party members, she showed the most interest in Mal and Lizzie. This was later revealed to be due to her dealings with Lady San.
Grace
Grace was a 41-year-old female tiefling, with black skin and hair, silver eyes, and goat-like horns. She was a sorcerer of some small talent, without formal education, but with a background of self-teaching and, following a hefty inheritance from a great aunt, the means to dedicate herself to further learning. Prior to joining the expedition she had been living on Ulna for about a year, attending any lectures which took her interest at the College of Arcana.
Buckstone & Swanson
Buckstone and Swanson were 25-year-old half-elf twins. They had sandy hair, fading tattoos on their arms, and a collection of minor scars attained primarily from fist fights and petty brawls (occasionally with each other). They very much came as a pair, having left their home in Cannis seeking adventure a few years earlier. Though competent fighters, they were quick to rush into situations with little sense of fear and self preservation. This made them brave and helpful companions, but ultimately saw them perish after being overwhelmed and suffocated by magical vines in one of the labyrinth's rooms.
Player characters
Agnes Silverbrand, Mal Aspen, Ahlizz Caskshaper and Rae joined the expedition after seeing an advert in The Three Daggers tavern.
