The Arcanium
The Arcanum are world renown curators of arcane and occult knowledge. They are known to have strong ties to the Tandari Council and the Crafter's Guild due to overseeing and spreading their knowledge.
Structure
It is lead by the Head Archivist who is charge of the Library and is tasked with organizing the overall structure. Beneath him are the Archivists with their own specialties. The bottom of the organization are the Scribes who are in charge of record keeping and learning how to navigate around the collection. There is a small army outfit that guards the more restrictive knowledge and artifacts.
Public Agenda
Their goal is to collect, curate, and control the flow of magical information available to anyone. They will fiercely protect the dark secrets of magic and do their best to restrict access to such information. A key example is Lichdom.
Assets
Access to a collection of rare information on spells, lore, artifacts, and even creatures. They even have some magical items in their more restrictive inventory for study but if necessary defense.
History
The Arcanum was founded around the Sundering in order to prevent the events from ever happening again. After wards most wizards study under the Arcanum to be able to control their magic, while they deal with the tradesmen to produce magical wares that would help the people defend themselves.
Magic should be studied and controlled.
