Evandra Serayne Lysheim was born human to Solveig Lysheim, a strong-willed woman from a respected Nordic lineage. Her father, Nikeratos Lykos, dismissed her from the moment of her birth, deeming her unworthy of his attention because she lacked the werewolf blood of her half-brothers, Rahne and Nikomedes. Growing up, Ever learned quickly that she would have to rely on her own wit and resolve, as her father offered neither guidance nor affection. Though she was no longer human, she never lost the fire of the woman she had been, resilient, cunning, and unbroken.   Throughout her long unlife, her bond with Rahne remained steadfast. Where others might see a divide between werewolf and vampire, the two siblings saw only the shared blood and shared scars that connected them. Rahne’s acceptance anchored her when others would have seen only a monster.   While she maintains a cold distance from Nikomedes, and feels nothing but contempt for her father’s memory, Evandra has built a life on her own terms. She thrives in the shadows, not as a victim of her past but as its conqueror.
