What is an NPC?
NPCs are Non- Player Characters, characters that are not played by players, but help to move the story along thanks to the GM or computer programming, or some form of scripting, like in Second LIFE. NPCs can give quests, information, help in combat, or simply bring a smile to your face by being "themselves." Goby, I am talking about you, buddy! Some NPCs have their own pages.
