Theria

Theria is smaller, well fortified coastal city on the Golden Strait. It's situated in a massive coastal cavern studded with glowing gemstones, famed for looking like a colerful starry sky when the sun can no longer make it through the cavern's opening.     By it's nature it's a very well fortified port, and has been used alternately as a military staging point or a safe trade harbor for it's whole existence. It's ruled by Duchess Ailana Iramar, since the tragic passing of her husband in a war with the humans. Their seat is in the Citadel of Stone, a castle fortification carved from a massive stone column near the center of the cavern.  

Wayfarer's Rest Inn

This cozy inn is popular with travelers passing through, and is run by the halfling Halsen Taletreader, said to have an ear to everything within the city.  

Gem Traitor Gambling House

This hing end casino is an open plaza area, preffering the gemstone roof of the cavern to any it could have built. The minimum bet's to play here are high, and the food and drink is very fancy. It serves as a place for rich traders and nobles in the city to meet and chat or blow off some steam gambling. It is owned and run by Crannog the Gambler.  

The New Page Bookstore

This quiet hole-in-the-wall bookstore is run by an elven woman named Mira. It has a small attached cafe that serves coffee and pastries.  

Citizens of Note

Captain Grant is a drow escapee of the underdark, and captains the river boat The Green Reach through the swampy web of streams and creeks near the city. The Duchess' personal attendant and secretary is Ilya Faritas
