Police Scanner

Legality

A police scanner is legal for a private citizen to own in most United States of America locations, but a portable police scanner may not be legal to have or operate in situations that a Hero might be considering. For example, portable police scanners are a violation of New York law if located within a vehicle, even if that vehicle is not in motion and the scanner is turned off.
