Personal history
By eight Kee could tell if anyone was using magic, and his honesty had him telling on our magic wielding, cheating classmates. Needless to say, he did not make many friends that way. Just Courier. But that was okay because they both enjoyed testing their new skills. Courier learned to carry him while flying. Kee learned how to find things using his magic. He and Courier made a whole childhood business of finding missing pets. Courier would fly him up above the houses, and Kee would scan for the missing critter. Together they had a great success rate.
Later, Courier was accepted into The Academy at The Rookery and Kee was accepted into the Burning Tower's apprenticeship program. They were no longer in school together and it was an adjustment, but the friendship was meant to last and they found ways to get in touch.
