Archer of the Lord
"Archer of the Lord." Perhaps there is no more tragic tale relating to the Seekers of the Golden Grain than that of Ion Ravenrider. Raised to defend his home, his journey after setting out with the Seekers took young Ion down many paths, but none would be so defining as his meeting with the Lord of the Dark Tower, Vecna.

Personal history
Born in Fjelldal to Ivar and Rahnhild Ravenrider, the town stable masters. The Ravenriders derived their name from their jet-black, almost purple, colored horses. As the second son, Ion was not made to follow in his father's trade. He enlisted in the town guard, and was extremely gifted with the bow. When the group that would come to be known as the Seekers of the Golden Grain came to town, the Ravenriders were experiencing their first bouts of the nightmares that had been afflicting the town. Ion proved vital to the Seekers being able to ingratiate themselves with the sometimes hostile town. He joined the group in fighting the Cult of Hokajin that were responsible for the nightmares. Afterwards, seeing he was capable of so much further power alongside these allies, he joined them in their adventures. After the Seekers had accomplished their goals, ironically it would be Ion, the Seeker originally from Fjelldal that would not return with the party to the Golden Grain Inn. Instead, he would continue in his service to the newly revealed Lord of the Dark Tower, Vecna. Knowledge of his specific exploits end here, but stories and accounts of the "Archer of the Lord" reach far and wide across Talam'h.
