Sea Elves
The Sea Elves are a subspecies of Elves formerly found throughout the lost kingdom of Mythenar, as well as the Vauthran Sea between Imera and Vraelia and the surrounding coustlines. Best known for their mastery over water and lightning magic, as well as their wealth of knowledge and naval prowess, the Sea Elves at their height were considered to be one of the greatest powers within the old Ithyrian Empire, second only to the heartland itself. Since the destruction of their kingdom during the Fall of Mythenar, it's believed that the Sea Elves themselves have gone extinct, though they are succeeded by their descendants, the Merfolk.

Sea Elves were said to have skin tones ranging from silvery grey to light blue, with white or very light hair, and blue or silver eyes. Like most other Elves, the Sea Elves had a slender physique.

Due to their location within the islands of the Vauthran sea, the Sea Elves had a very naval-focused culture. Since their homeland of Mythenar sat between the continents of Imera and Vraelia, it served as a major point of naval trade between the Ithyrian heartland and its southern territories, contributing greatly to their wealth and prosperity. Before their fall, the Sea Elves were considered to be the greatest naval power not just among the Elves of Ithyria, but throughout Imera and Vraelia as a whole, a fact they took great pride in.

Among the denizens of the Ithyrian empire, the Sea Elves have produce many great scholarly minds, and boasted an extensive collection of knowledge to rival even the Ithyrian Elves of the heartland. Sadly, their reckless pursuit of power through the knowledge they've gained would be what lead to the downfall of their people and kingdom.

The Sea Elves were said to have access to highly advanced instances of Aetheric Architecture, even being responsible for creating a number of instances of them in the first place.
Common Dress code
Sea Elf clothing was made from light cloth with white and light blue colours, with a graceful aesthetic reminiscent of the ocean waves.
Art & Architecture
Like most Elves, the architecture of the Sea Elves made extensive use of smooth, graceful shapes, and was typically constructed from white stone with blue tiling for the roofs. Aditionally, water played a large role in their architecture, typically in the form of aquaducts and waterways.
