Discovery, Exploration
The first Goldmane explorer ships land near what is now Point Royal, in the year 72 BU. This marked the first recorded time anyone from the Old World has set foot in Riddari.
Goldmane ships landed on the shores of southern Riddari. Goldmane and Goance explorers had been in contact with BINE and the Southern Tolesh people for some time already. During this contact they had gotten word of a lush farming land west of Bine across the mountains. BINE had intended to keep it secret, and claim if for themselves, but constant infighting within their fledgling empire, and warring with the viscous brutes from Akultok, they had not able to make a move to Riddari. The Southern Tolesh kingdoms were more interested in expanding southward, (or defending themselves from the ones moving south!). An Al-Saif sheik actually let the secret out to the Goldmane. Once the Goldmane sent explorers, Goance spies reported the movements (the Goldmane and Goance were bitter, ancient enemies back in the Old World ), the Goance sent ships, they Goldmane were the first to reach the new lands.
