Fekete To’ Portals

Fekete To’ Portals

There are magical teleport portals (pairs) within FeketeTo'. The portals are large stone torus structures, about 12' in diameter, the center void glows an eerie cloudy semi-transparent purple when activated. These portals use the life essence of sentient creatures to activate for a limited time (either sacrificed at the base of the portal, or contained in Soul Crystals placed at the base of the portal) or a special enchanted orb of precicious metals set in a special divit in the portal base, which keeps them open permanently. Outside the Crwon Parrish Gates there are twelve (12) portals. Three (3) of these portals are active, one portal between the Devout, Foreign, and Scavenger parishes. Each parrish has a corresponding portal linked to paired to these portals. These pairs of portals are public and always activated (with a precious metal orb set in the frame), and allow movement between the parishes and the Crown Parish. Seven of these portals look to be in working condition, but are not activated (the orb is missing). The final two portals have no orb and are visibly damaged and do not appear usuable in their current condition.

There is one (1) addidtional portal in the basement of The Golden in the Cwron Parish (which allows travel between it and an area called Hux's End, far from the city). This was used to go to the Vaulted Temple (A cavern temple of Lloth which has long been abandoned). The Vaulted Temple has an active portal that connects it to an old drow castle known as Lloth's Tea Kettle, where soul infusion magic was being developed many millennia ago. The castle was contested area, controlled by 3 factions; production autonomons (loyal to the original drow castle mistresses), A drow matron mother (who occupied took the castle from the orginal ruling family for her own personal gain) and gnome chonomancers (who were tasked with neutralizing the autonoms and matron mother). The Hux End portal pair is always activaled (by orbs) and guarded by an elite drow squads stationed at both sides.
