Ginger Stasucto

Tall as a man, though perhaps not a tall man, Ginger Stasucto is a wonder to behold when she walks into the room; always well dressed, perfect in posture and exuding the well sculpted image of a highly educated Kandia woman!   Able to bend in all manner of ways and sporting a mean kick, Ginger appears as a well muscled redhead possessing of extremely high levels of flexibility and body control, all veiled by a statuesque feminine frame that is mostly curves and womanly features.   Fair skinned and heavily befreckled, her amazing, knee-length mane of crimson hair calls attention to her wherever she goes; strong, striking, well maintained and never needing to be tucked back or put up!

A band of very noticeable freckles stretches across her nose from cheekbone to cheekbone and the rest of her face is only moderately less spotted.
Roughly 25% of the time these freckles are dark green, like a pine forest.
This normally takes the form of one day of green freckles followed by three days of normal freckles.
Alternatively her freckles change to or from green when she washes her face or steps out into the sun, etc.
Though her mother says that this symbolizes a deep connection to the spirits of the Othyrworld, Ginger has only recently traveled far from the core and doesn't actually think that her color changing freckles indicate anything special about her.   Despite this, there is nothing unattractive about Ginger's face; being somewhat angular with soft cheekbones and a modest nose, average height hairline and a sort of luster about her skin that has begun to set in since she joined The Twenty-Five.
Her eyes, piercing and emerald green, give her away as a descendant of the Ducky Isles almost as readily as her glorious locks, seemingly able to entrance those who meet her gaze for too long.   Gently pouting lips adorn her mouth, giving a delightful canvas upon which to apply Entwia Lipstick and Soteri Crystal Powders when attending special functions.

Ginger is most easily identified by her striking red hair, obvious emerald green eyes and extremely numerous freckles which sometimes turn deep green.
None of these features are particularly common within the core of Kanda and mark her as a carbon copy of her mother; a former native of the Ducky Isles.   However, she walks, talks, dresses and ACTS like the Kandia born native that she is, abating these more identifiable features in mixed company.   Despite her best efforts, Ginger is nearly always identifiable in any group of Kandia not merely from her appearance but due to her own particular brand of fame.
Merely BEING Ginger is an identifying feature that she sadly has to travel quite far from The Core to escape, constantly hounded by excited, would-be commissioners and admirers.
And now that she has been publicly chosen as The Generositas' PERSONAL Investigator to Soteri, her reputation has only swollen to even grander heights.
Indeed, just by being herself, she has become one of the most recognizable faces in all of the Empire... if only for now.

Ginger, while she does not have The Gift or any particular aptitude with otherwise magical or cosmic forces, has learned several utilitarian magical abilities from her father which are all specialized toward carving and sculpting stone and other minerals; most of which are culturally specific to The Western Kingdom and learned by her father on his infamous smuggling adventure beyond The Theocracy Of Eldin.
Because of this she's commonly known as "Stone Hands" by many of the central ranking members of The Twenty-Five, as she seldom socializes with other members and spends most of her free time practicing her stone shaping skills.   Flexible to the point of being able to freely dislocate most of her joints, Ginger can reach straight backward as easily as punch forward, perform insane acts of contortion and casually squeeze into near any area larger than her head.
Despite many Tuniswia saying it will cause her great pains and aches in the future and that the popping of her joints are bad for her, she firmly insists otherwise and there is no sign that she will suffer arthritis or any joint pain any time soon.   While she doesn't make a ready statement of it and, indeed, tries to keep it as much of a secret as possible, Ginger's perfect hair is actually supported by years of magical treatment that her mother taught to her to keep "The Family Mane" under control.
Because of nearly two decades of magical toying, managing, handling and reinforcement Ginger's hair can support nearly ten times the weight of normal hair and never misbehaves.
Not only that but it always stays behind her when she moves, no matter the direction or wind speed.
It never gets in her eyes, never gets too tangled for her to run a comb through and "Never Looks Bad."
She also sleeps without putting it up and never suffers bedhead, rising every morning to put her hair into order with a simple shake of her head.   Most recently her deals with the more powerful entities of Soteri have imparted her with far grander abilities than she could have ever before imagined, though she is loathe to let anyone know about them yet, seeing them as a great potential threat to her mission.
Still, as she spends more time in the Soterri Sun, she finds that her natural abilities are slowly expanding.
She eats less, thinks more deeply, sees farther, barely needs to sleep and finds every day gradually more easy to handle than the last.
Able to utilize her growing intellect to figure out problems she never even knew she had, her now near perfect memory allows her to replay events from her past with absolute clarity and produce solutions to perennial problems that she never thought capable of being resolved.
And, at the promise of personal training from the Bonobo Matriarch Dara, Ginger suspects that her newfound abilities will only expand further and to ever greater heights if given time and attention.

Like most Young Kandia women of her age and station, Ginger is extremely fond of all manner of multicolored, multi-piece, ankle length Tulia.
When doing physical work she will, of course, change to a much more conservative tunic.
And on occasion she sneaks into Marek's closet (a time honored test of character for Ta Tangia Enbria) to steal one of his shirts and sleep in it.   Recently she has grown accustomed to the idea of a sports bra and simple, loose workout trousers (Read: Wide Legged Yoga Pants) during the brunt of her workout activities in any given day the day, appreciating the breathability and flexibility of the garment despite the scandal it wreathes her with among other Kandia.
Fortunately her position as a Partanar excuses her from many such embarrassments, as "Artists" are allowed to display quite a bit more social deviance than most "Respectable" individuals might consider for themselves.

Like her father and ANY practicing Partanar, Ginger has no shortage of hammers, chisels, canvas, saws, brushes, measuring tools, mallets and all manner of other things you would expect in the workshop of a Kandia artist.
Naturally her father will buy her any tool he already has and get a matching pair for anything he doesn't so her collection of tools is extremely diverse and specialized.
She's recently even gotten a sculpting set dedicated to working with Jade, almost all of which was made by a native of The Western Kingdom!
The favorite item in her inventory is a special "Stone Cup" that her father ordered for her for her 18th birthday which allows a Partanar to listen to pieces of stone to determine how dense they are and if there are any faults in the material when struck with "measuring hammers."   While her collection of artistic tools may be impressive to most, it pales in comparison to the objects that she stole from Marek's home before leaving to Soteri.
Equipped with a portable solar charging cell and current activated power generator, Ginger can freely use a learning tablet packed with important lessons and software programs able to help her achieve her purposes.
Alongside that she's brough a serviceable pistol from The Bringer's Armories, complete with several loaded magazines.
Despite their modern origins Ginger has managed to properly disguise these to play them off as Kandia items from the Core; the highest and most prestigious of personal toys for her culture but otherwise impossible to intuit the true nature of by even the most perceptive.

Born To A Well-To-Do Anar in Shar Essaro; planned, expected and desired, Ginger had a nearly perfect life from the perspective of a Kandia girl.
Her father valued her opinion, as he knew she would expect no resistance in taking on the family business of art and sculpting despite being born a girl.
Her mother doted on her, teaching her the ancestral stories and some magic from the North of Ducky Island while filling her mind with fanciful Darobia stories of how her color changing freckles made her a special child with connections to the spirits of her mother's homeland.
Anything she wanted, within reason, her father would find a way to get for her; bolstered by his position as Sadir Do Familine over the entirety of the House Of Stasucto.   With no shortage of affection and no siblings to divide the attention of her parents, Ginger grew up idolizing her parents; learning whatever they had to offer with nothing but respect and excitement to take on the family name and trade!
She fell in love with the world of art and the idea of measuring stone and earth, of the mixing of paints and the intense debate that came with the skill of doing business on her father's level!
Seeing her genius, her parents nearly bankrupted themselves to arrange a revolving door of private tutors throughout her upbringing, ensuring she was able to learn whatever she desired; literature, equestrianism, politics and music!
To help give her context to his own travels, her father Primus introduced her to the House Of Zhu; a western family living within the Shar that could help her understand just how large and interconnected the world truly was!
Upon meeting Lee Zhu's daughter, Chahua Leead Zhu, the two became great friends; only growing closer and more intimate as they grew into women.   Seeing her independence and creativity, Primus worked hard to avoid any potential betrothals when she was young and insisted upon her that marriage is not merely for love but for family and politics; that she must understand that the family she marries will be her new family and, in true fashion, she must make sure her new family enhances her TRUE Family!
Suitably, Ginger learned to be extremely picky about suitors, maintaining an air of untouchability among her peers as much as possible and reveling in such a reputation as she blossomed in her teenage years!   As she grew she began to master the stone shaping magic of The Western Kingdom, searching for new applications to create works JUST as beautiful and prestigious as her father would make, with JUST as much function and majesty as anything he could make!
Primus, as any good father would, noticed this and dedicated more and more time to her over the years.
She would have the best tools, the most well stocked workshops, direct connection to all of the family clientele and all manner of advantages other girls were simply not afforded.
Taken everywhere with him, she would become a well known fixture of his social image, the little sculptor that would one day take over the artistic business her famed father had so carefully cultivated.
When she married it would be FAR above her station and it would bring the name of Stasucto high into the courts of the imperial elite!   And so Father and Daughter worked in perfect concert with each other!
Wherever he would go to seek business she would follow and bear witness to all of his methods firsthand.
Contacts all over the region... nay... The Empire would understand that the TRUE Heir Of Stasucto was no boy but a fully independent and talented woman; fit and trained to do everything the culture required of her while maintaining her full working reputation throughout!
No man would marry a son off to her expecting her to be some placid wife.
She carried a much grander name on her shouders and, protected by her societal title of Pilua Do Partanaria, she would be allowed to inherit as any man might.   Primus felt that there was no father who could be prouder of his daughter!     And then came The Garnering!
On the 10th Of Harvesting, 1632, after the Great Fertility Festival had come to its highest point, everything changed!
Overnight her entire world went from lavish but decidedly classical to entirely modern with new machinery, better plumbing, more productive workshops and electric stoves!
And The Bringer Of Fertility, though a strange man from a mythical land, had returned to change even more!   Her father, having been AT the ritual that summoned The Bringer Of Fertility, heard fast enough that others were sending their daughters with dowries to try to seal the deal with Marek Of War-Saw.
THIS was the time the family had been waiting for!
Trained to select her suitors carefully since her girlhood and now a woman grown for two years and capable of all of the social combat that was so common in Kandia life, Ginger set off.   Washed and dressed properly, Ginger collected all of her dearest accomplishments, loaded up the cart with a Masterpiece Marble Statue of the Bringer Of Fertility carved by her father and set off with the two best draft horses her family had. (Also as offerings)
To her surprise... she didn't even get to talk to Marek Of War-Saw!
Instead she was cut off by Domitia Augustad Auroterri; The Founder Of The Twenty-Five and simple sheep herder's daughter, the child of one of the low class Gumaria at the edge of the Shar.   Everything was explained to her and her fellow aspiring wives.
Marek Of War-Saw cared not for dumb women, wifely material or pitiful dowries.
All of these things that they brought were paltry toys and dust collectors to him.
Their horses were useless to him, for he had grand horses that stood taller at the shoulder than a man on his toes!
Their livestock and beasts of burden were equally pitiful compared to that which The Bringer Of Fertility himself worked with; great fuzzy hogs that regularly weighed more than half a ton, chickens and ducks who laid an egg every day, rabbits that grew to the weight of a dog, cattle and goats that produced gallons of milk a day without trouble.
Indeed ANYTHING they had to offer was of little interest to Marek, from their gifts to their bodies.   He wanted BRAINS!
She learned all too fast that, here and ONLY here, she would be expected to be everything a man was!
If that was too much for her she would have no shame placed upon her for leaving!   Ginger, of course, could not balk at such a challenge!
She had learned to do business like a man, work with stone like a man, measure and memorize standards and templates like any Civiandus and understood magic that nobody in Kanda had gotten access to since before she was born!
She went back to her father, told him EXACTLY what was happening (Rather than spin some tale as most of Ta Tangia Enbria did!) and immediately packed her things, prepared Arabox (Her Raven) and moved into Marek's Manor!
There she would be able to exercise the fullness of her genius!
THERE she would be able to revel all too readily in being Unapproachable!   The Choice Was All Too Clear!     And so, through several tribulations alongside her fellow Tangia Enbria, Ginger trained for months under Marek's personal supervision; learning modern english, polish, mathematics, botany, physics, espionage and martial arts!
She was threatened in that time by the father of Domitia, Augustus Auroterri, for protecting his own daughter from his violent assault.
Fed up with waiting for Marek to "repay" his family for offering him their only begotten daughter, he had come during Shar Essaro's greatest time of vulnerability and need to make demands of The Bringer Of Fertility.
Upon seeing Domitia struck unconscious by his hand and Marek's personal protege put into a coma in the same moment, she was taken hostage with a knife to her belly, a GRIEVOUS threat in Kandia Culture.
Fortunately for her, Marek rescued intervened and restrained the man before it came to more bloodshed.
And Primus, with the full might of the law at his back after a public trial, later publicly strangled Augustus for his many crimes in the center of The Shar for all to see!   Though times were calm for a while, at some point the identity of The Maiden Of Health became clear to them all at the induction of Soteri into the Longia of Kanda!
And so Ginger was swept away to the capital of Kanda Sentran with Almindi and Marek, who desired to quietly take part in the politics of Kanda and gather more information on these new additions to the Empire!
While her day was apart from them she purchased a slave by the name of Ulf to "Train" for her eventual coupling with Marek, having grown remarkably infatuated with the Founder during her training under him.
However, her fun in the capital was cut short... as The Bringer told her that he wanted her to travel to Soteri and investigate Jonathan Mondragon personally for his actions in The Kobori-Kandia War Of Extinction!
If indeed Jonathan Mondragon was a war criminal it would be up to her to determine this at the behest not only of Marek Of War-Saw but of The Generositas, to whom Marek had grown quite close in a remarkably short period of time.
And she was not merely to investigate his part in the war crimes of Kobori Final War... but more!
She was given her orders... her mission... and teased that her return would be into his arms if she came back to him.   She knew what she had to do!
And so she set off with Hadran Lucretusad Aurelos: The Investigator For The Blue Faction Of Ta Thinal!
And with her, in the very same cabin, she would spend her voyage with Helena Lucusad Nervantonin; one of Kandar Lucus' many legitimized bastards seeking to see Soteri for the chance of making a grand port in the newly established Longo and bringing Kandia trade BACK to The West!
Now more than ever, Ginger was at the highest echelons of society!
Before it had all been training...   NOW She Was Officially A Jade Shadow!   And so her journey brought her south to the glorious crystal waters of Ta Fanusia Hyanus where, unbeknownst to the rest of the world, The Counter Of The Earth had arrived with a great island, amazing technologies and loyal alien hounds seemingly bred to sniff out the unnatural.
And there Ginger was truly humbled, trying her best to maintain her role and carry out her mission secretly.
However, The Counter Of The Earth could not have such details hidden from her.
Seeing her inability to keep things secret from such a founder, Ginger begrudgingly admitted defeat and begged the Founder's forgiveness, answering all of her questions and offering her services while she stayed in The Gap.
Pleased by her cooperation, Roxanne Flagrare: The Counter Of The Earth called upon all of the ledgers and parchmentwork that had been brought along so that she could take full stock of the Empire.
And after hours of searching and studying both she and Ginger located the greatest of horrors.   The Kandia Economy Was In Freefall!   While perhaps not noticeable to the average person, the Empire was never made to act in such complete diplomatic isolation, and an entire generation of being cut off from The West had led to untenable economic situations.
Perhaps worse yet, Kanda's military was running at half of its potential, private interests squandering their sons for personal security and benefitting off of the poor management on the part of their betters.
And all the while wealth sequestration in the upper echelons of Kanda's elites had cultivated an entire culture of Imperial negligence and inaction which would serve to completely crash the treasuries in just a few handfuls of years.
Having only just made her opinion of the Spirit Islanders clear, it became clear not only to Roxanne but even to Ginger that dark times were ahead... and so Ginger encouraged The Founder to go to the Core and meet both The Kandar AND Marek Of War-Saw.
It was too important to keep to herself, after all.   All the same, it was only the very next day that the fleet to Soteri left, and so Roxanne had to be left to her own devices while Ginger trained furiously about the little ship that she traveled by.
Now knowing even just a small tidbit of the danger that Founders posed, even merely conceptually, she redoubled her efforts to become Unapproachable; not merely socially... but mentally and emotionally!
To maintain her composure and ensure her mission was not revealed she worked to create multiple layers of mental defense; secondary and tertiary trains of thought which would blast any probing minds with a flood of pornographic imagery produced by her own subconscious.
She disguised all of the modern equipment she took from Marek to be functionally indistinguishable from special magical tools used by the Kandia, even testing their believability against the minds of Hadran and Helena and any others who would humor her.   Finally, nearing the new year, she arrived in Soteri to find that Jonathan Mondragon had, through some divine methods, been momentarily turned into a woman!
Though this did not bother Ginger in the slightest, it did allow her to better manage the missions she'd been given by her own Prime.
And after they turned back into a man it was all too easy to integrate into their sphere of influence, as Jon was positively besotted with her.
However, much as Jon was the perfect fantasy of a young woman like herself, Ginger knew she had even more important plans to carry out.
And without aid, those goals would be impossible to achieve.

As with all of Ta Tangia Enbria, Ginger is receiving a more-or-less comprehensive modern curriculum from Marek Of War-Saw and various educational programs he mandates The Twenty-Five watch in the safety and security of his home.
This includes modern mathematics, scientific methodology, English and Polish, physical education, self defense, geology and modern agricultural science.
However, due to her specific background and unique field of experiences, Marek has taken a strong interest in teaching her statecraft, social manipulation and courtly espionage even above the rest of The Twenty-Five.
Her comprehensive understanding of masculine interests, independent family name, the specific profession of her father and her possession of many unique talking points for all sorts has shown Marek that she may position herself in nearly any social circle within high society with next to no difficulty from general demeanor alone; deeply practiced at what Kanda expects of her and able to use the role pushed upon to her advantage!   To top off her more recent entry into modern education, Ginger has been doted on heavily by her parents throughout her entire life; both academically and physically.
Her father is largely thought to be unable to refuse her, which has allowed her to explore all manner of information young Kandia women generally don't have access to.
Moreover, she was provided with numerous personal tutors growing up when not directly educated by her father in the family business and how to manage it; both socially and fiscally.
This has allowed her ready understanding of more courtly fields of information, from heraldry and etiquette to classical literature, Poetry, Target Archery and Feminine Horseback Riding Styles; all of which are regarded as very prestigious skills for Kandia women.   Ginger's Journey to Soteri has already expanded her capabilities by leaps and bounds!
Spending all of her time training and practicing her craft through the stormy waters south of Ta Fanusia Hyanus, Ginger has been able to actively better herself through the potentially deadly adversity of the High Seas; reshaping her body to one of visibly imposing fitnes and imparting her with all sorts of new and useful knowledge for life at the farthest fringes of the world!
Spending any of her free time on the voyage with the Kandar's Daughter Helena Nervantonin and the Blues Investigator Hadran Aurelos, Ginger has picked up a fair amount of legal and mercantile knowledge as well; already having been a bureaucratically oriented individual from her family's noteworthy reputation in the arts!   To conceal her true intentions and thoughts from even the mind of a Prime, as well as to maintain her reputation of being "Unapproachable," Ginger has developed numerous special methods in her time to hide everything about her actual motives; ensuring even the Kandia Superman cannot intuit her true goals.
Furthermore, though she does not reveal the true contents of her deals with anyone unless she absolutely has to, she has made several transactions with exotic figures of Soteri like Chiyo Donahue: The Detective and Zakia: The Leader Of The Pro Simian Embassy in Soteri to better finish her duties.
And, from both of them, Ginger has received both information and physical assistance beyond the boundaries of anything she even thought possible!   For now only time will tell EXACTLY what she'll do to finish her mission but, of course, beyond the achievement of said goals she is fully aware that life will only get more eventful.

Because of her father's profession and how it has been taught to her, Ginger is one of the few of The Twenty-Five who can say she is a legitimate working girl.   While otherwise considered strictly amateur by her artistic peers, Ginger uses whatever free time she has to focus her skills in sculpting, carving and the few magical tricks that her father taught her to continue the family's "Masonic Style."
Unlike most older, more accomplished Partanaria who were once regimented men in the Kandia military learning to expand into form from strict function, Ginger is not otherwise held back by the societal expectation to hide her works until they are noticed by a fellow brother in arms... and so regularly takes commissions from her peers and even distant relatives family looking to pay a bit less for their art but still "Get A Stasucto;" paying in half of the proceeds directly to the family name and keeping the rest for herself and her private endeavors.
It's said she's even managed to get her hands on a few Jade Notes in the last year from some special admirer, though she won't speak of such things even to those closest to her.
Because any practicing Daughter Of Partanaria may be self-styled as a Partanar herself, this leaves her as one of the more individually affluent of The Twenty-Five, ESPECIALLY given her name!
Though ALL Materials MUST be supplied BY the Commissioner!
Her skills lie in the shaping of stone, not its procurement!   Recently Ginger has been personally hired by Philanthropus Domitiad Magnomus "Generositas" of Ta Thinal to investigate the events of the Kobori Final War and personally gather information on the part of Jonathan Mondragon: The Maiden Of Health in the use of Elephants for war.
Arriving at Castan Mondragon on Celebrating 37, 1632, Ginger has officially begun her mission to get to the bottom of all of Soteri's Political Secrets!   Alongside this all too official form of investigation, Ginger has rendered aid to the people of Soteri in the form of acting as artistic consultant for the restoration of the Kobori Temple Of Genesis.
There she has used her exquisite understanding of cultural themes and artistic motifs to help navigate the labyrinthine depths of the ancient building and decode the many messages displayed within via images of people and events.
Without her inherent understanding of how other cultures use art to tell stories, the Kobori Temple Of Genesis would still be completely unintelligible to the rest of Soteri, as even the Kobori themselves have been away from the temple long enough to have forgotten the meaning of much of its contents.
For this service Longar Meningitis Soterion has agreed to pay her quite handsomely.

Ginger considers her greatest achievement in life to be the learning of magic from The Western Kingdom!
As one of the very few in all of Kanda who know such magic, even considering its application, it gave her a huge leg up on the competition against her branch of the family; giving her all of the knowledge and experience she would need to make her own way in this increasingly male oriented world.
Understanding her value, her next dearest accomplishment is her first commission, after which she was told by her father that she was OFFICIALLY a Partanaros at only 11!   Being chosen as an official investigator to Soteri by The Generositas, while perhaps her most recent major accomplishment, remains at the top of Ginger's List of great things to have done in her life!
While Marek Of War-Saw got her the position, Ginger has taken the role very seriously and is dedicating every fiber of her being to fulfilling her mission goals!   Though she will not yet let anyone know about them, Ginger has already accomplished much in Soteri, far beyond anything she would have initially expected!
In no small way, her mission has imparted her with power and ability capable of eclipsing the rest of her large, fractious house.
While she cannot precisely say what the future will hold for her, she is abundantly aware that the world will not be ready for her entry into High Kandia Politics.   Though her feminine wiles and carnal ministrations have not convinced the mighty Pro Simian Diplomat to give up any information on his own secretive people, the Bonobo Zakia has been impressed by her "interpersonal skills" and has offered, after her investigation in Soteri has concluded, to have her train under The Bonobo Matriarch Dara in the Tower Of Ecstasy; a place within the Bonobo Matriarchies that is considered so holy that no human has ever been allowed to enter before her.
Only due to her father's "Impressive Social Understanding For A Human" and her own "Anatomical Advantages" has entry has been allowed by the Matriarchs, if only for a single month of training in their deeply secretive cultural practices.
While she does not truly understand the contents of this invitation, Ginger grasps all too certainly the extremely rare gift she's been granted and fully intends to take advantage of it after a thorough investigation of Soterri.

The One And Only TRUE Embarrassment Ginger Has Ever Faced Was The Founding Of The Twenty-Five!
Her entire life had led up to choosing the right man, to wooing someone far above her station and making her family proud!
In that, Ginger failed spectacularly the night she joined Ta Tangia Enbria.
She wasn't even allowed to meet her prospective husband; merely told by the FIRST girl to try that she wouldn't succeed!
One less disciplined female even tried to argue but that retort was effortlessly slapped down.
It became readily apparent that her whole life of training and practice to be the perfect, heightened woman in Kandia Society was, if perhaps not a waste of time, certainly not what she should have been dedicating herself to.
The very things she was told she would never need were the things she needed most when Marek Of War-Saw arrived!
For that she's always felt insecure and unfit for her position as one of The Highest Of Marek's Shadows...   However, more recently Ginger has been supremely humbled by the skills of the Pro Simians!
When she attempted to seduce the Bonobo Zakia so as to better complete her investigations he rebuffed her, telling her that he'd gotten more lascivious propositions from new employees trying to impress the boss on their first day.
COMPLETELY unprepared for the true social complexity of Confederate System, she was dealt a viscious social blow that day, having to admit that her understanding of even her most practiced subjects were still infantile compared to the true masters of those same concepts.
Completely unable to use any of her specialized social skills to sway the Bonobo, Ginger was forced to admit that she had a lot to learn... even in the subject she thought to be her strongest.

While it was brief and Ginger has weathered it well enough, she occasionally has nightmares of when Domitia's Father nearly cut her belly open with a knife when she tried to come to Domitia's rescue!
Marek's Master Of Arms was stabbed, Marselos was put in a coma and Domitia was stricken so hard about the head and ears that it left her deaf and concussed for weeks.
... And Ginger's Legacy was threatened in the form of a knife to her belly, cutting against her clothing and threatening to break her flesh before Marek Of War-Saw was able to intervene and relieve Augustus Auroterri of the offending arm!   For such treasonous and threatening acts in a time of crisis, Domitia's Father was publicly strangled to death by Ginger's own father but she still remembers the terror she felt at the time for stepping to her friend's defense...
Sometimes... she still wakes up crying from remembering it... from dreaming of it.

Ginger represents the combination of raw genius paired with an entire formative lifetime of overwhelming family support, proper education and a curiosity that those around her never felt the need to discourage!
On strict talent alone she is probably just as intelligent as Domitia, merely lacking the raw learning knack that Domitia waves above the rest of The Twenty-Five.
Despite this, Ginger is still the most intelligent and academically capable of the lot of them; having considerable academic knowledge from her formative years taught by well paid tutors and masters of their craft while possessing of a sort of ability to learn more quickly than her fellows even beyond her impressive natural intellect.   Because of this Ginger is not nearly as skilled an actor and deceiver as her superior but is known to speak very cogently and recite all manner of trivia if prompted to.
She has a deep well of personal knowledge to call upon and acts like it, never asking for help publicly and always the one the rest of Ta Tangia Enbria rely on to answer questions they don't want to bother Domitia with.
She prides herself on also being an intellectual speaker in the presence of men; possessing a cunning social demeanor and biting wit that often leave boys she is unimpressed with feeling humbled and incapable.   Since her secret dealings with the great figures present in Soteri her intelligence has only seemed to multiply, bringing her understanding of everything from language to administration to the fore.
Bolstered by the burning heat of the southern sun, she has begun to find the need to sleep superfluous, the drive to relax abated by an urge to activity.
With a mind now eagerly reaching out for more information, she tears into any and all codices she can get her hands on and consumes them wholly before discarding them to move onto the next text.
Already her modern learning tools have run out of useful content and her mind seeks to sate its hunger on yet more and more esoteric knowledge, leading her to seek out dangerous opportunities to fulfill her curiosities.

Ginger is one of the rare few within The Twenty-Five who had a perfectly viable future ahead of her long before The Bringer Of Fertility arrived!
Without his intervention she would have been able to claim an extremely prestigious future as a Partanar just like her father, carrying on the family name into outright national fame, even as "The Old Guard" of the House Of Stasucto went on to continue the family foundation of carpentry and masonry that her father had grown out of.   This being said, Ginger's motivations revolve around self perfection!
She desires to become as good at the arts as her father, as well practiced in her magic as any Mysterios and as socially capable as the greatest of all spies.
She seeks to be seen with only the utmost respect and to be regarded as Truly Untouchable... and in that she's already succeeded.
That being said, she still seeks to improve whatever she can beyond anyone else.
The very existence of Domitia shows her that she still has a ways to go before she can be properly unapproachable; before she can decide her own destiny BEYOND her original plan to become a Great Partanar.   And, with her recent discoveries into the real DEPTH of the world around her, she has become even more motivated toward mastery of self to attain mastery of the universe.

When it comes to blending in, the LAST person you want to ask is Ginger Stasucto!
Everything about her, from her strikingly vibrant red hair to her fair skin to her color changing freckles marks her in a crowd and she generally fails in the art of stealth even if she possesses all prerequisite abilities to maintain such gambits.
Something about Ginger pulls attention to her in a way that simply precludes stealth and the concept of being "undercover."   Furthermore, her very existence is an identifying feature; known at least by name throughout almost half of the entire empire due to her father's reputation and propensity to bring her everywhere he goes on business.

Beyond almost anything else, Ginger is seen as extremely patient, confident and contemplative.
She never cries, worries or agonizes over anything short of literal threats to her life, never requires public assistance or guidance from Marek or any other Tutors, never fails to turn in her work, finishes her assigned duties promptly and almost always seems downright idle when not specifically in motion; dutifuly practicing her craft or skeptically gathering what necessary information she thinks will aid her in her next assignments.
She seldom shows fear or burnout and she rarely needs to take breaks even from the more grueling parts of training, her force of will, so it seems, being sufficient to push her through MOST hardship even when her body starts to fail.

Since her arrival into Ta Tangia Enbria, Ginger has allowed herself to become one of the single most determined of all of the Shadows.
While this might often drive her to success, it also seeks to continually endanger her and drive her into ever more menacing scenarios and those, in turn, only end up fueling her daredevilry.
Every major accident that she escapes unscathed, every potential existential threat that she survives and every social challenge she surpasses leads her more and more to consider herself unable to be beaten.
Over the course of the last several months this has ultimately led her to the conclusion that she is truly becoming JUST as untouchable as she desires to be, driving her to make foolish decisions in reference to her own safety.   Perhaps even worse, her recent enhancement by way of the Pro Simian Confederacy has only reinforced this idea!
While now more capable than she's ever been, those in the know worry that this newfound power will drive her to increasingly more reckless action as time goes by.

Recent dealings with the Bonobo Zakia have come with an unexpected side-effect.
While partaking in the devious pasttime known as DANCING is considered scandalous and uncivilized to the Kandia people at large, (though they do enjoy watching others dance!) Ginger has been struck by the horrors of what some modern folks might call "Boogie Fever."
Almost unable to resist when it strikes, Ginger has recently taken extreme measures by releasing the stress of "The Urge" at night where none can see her outrageously bopping about the sands of Soteri.
Though she has not yet been directly identified in her clandestine jigs, the redheaded shadow HAS accidentally cultivated the rumor of "The Night Dancer" throughout the southern reaches of Soteri; a mysterious and Darobia entity said to be risen from the distant that even the Kobori have no knowledge of.
Now, thanks to her wild propensity to break out into nighttime dancing, Ginger legitimately fears the discovery of her greater secrets.

Like many of the Twenty-Five, Ginger has her own personal set of bathing and hygiene rituals, though her own is far more specific to her particular physical traits.
Her hair requires a half an hour to magically reinforce and style every day; though she consistently does this during her lunch, as she eats apart from the other girls, normally using the excuse of private study to cover her more cosmetic magical skills.
Despite the intense and dedicated magical attention put into her hair every day, Ginger MAY go a few days without repeating this before her hair begins trying to assert its dominance over the rest of the world.
While her hair is always exquisitely styled, tangle free and perpetually behind her where it belongs she seldom seems to run a brush or comb through it; though she easily CAN if she so desires.
All styling, brushing, cleaning and otherwise is done through bare hands and native Ducky Islander Magic.   Like MOST native Kandia and especially those born and raised in The Core, Ginger is extremely fond of communal hot water bathing, often using one of the large master bathrooms in the top floor of Marek's Personal Manor with others in The Twenty-Five to soak on a daily basis.
If the Manor's tubs are full she generally goes to the Hot Springs at Gume Zhu with Chahua.
Fond of all of the standards of hygiene in Kandia Culture, Ginger is a huge fan of Kandia soaps, scented oils and specially formulated lotions from The Enthiros Sarbarina; Avatar of the local Gal Deity Sarbaros.   Since her arrival in Soteri Ginger has even developed an appreciation for Kobori Sand Bathing, appreciating the clean, soft feeling her skin takes on when properly scoured by the hot desert sands that surround the sparse settlements of the newly established Longo.

While the Stasucto name itself is relatively new on the public scene, formerly that of a simple but prominent masonry and carpentry family known for extremely dedicated service across many generations, Ginger's father Primus has made the family name into a regional staple!
Wealthy commissioners hear of his work from far and wide and go out of their way to find him and commission custom art pieces for their private enjoyment.
He alone is known as one of the few experts of carving and sculpting that was able to smuggle himself beyond the boundaries of Eldin's Blockade and learn the secrets of Western Stone Carving and Shaping Magic!
Simply being directly related to her father in this small but prestigious branch of the family is a great boon.   Because of this, however, Ginger's greatest relations happen to come from outside the family!
Her father has made art pieces for many different families across the core of Kanda and she has gone with him to attend to those appointments much of the time so as to better learn the family business.
Through these travels she's met all manner of now good friends that write to her regularly and even occasionally commission her.
While she is not the master her father is, she's regarded as the most studious of his children and certainly the most experienced in his particular brand of magic.
This ensures that she has many suitors, social climbers and aspiring father-in-laws sending trying to get in contact with her, promising her favors and offering all manner of intriguing propositions just to be better connected with "The Daughter Of Stasucto."   Despite being part of The Twenty-Five, Ginger only knows Chahua very well; having grown up spending time at the Gume of The Shar's Master Of Orchards, learning Hu-Lao and playing with his daughter while he and her father mostly talked business.
]Otherwise Ginger has spent a surprisingly small amount of time within the borders of Shar Essaro and thus hasn't made many friends on Almindi's land.

Ginger is extremely close to her mother and father, who have collectively dedicated almost all of their resources to raising her as the true heir to the family name.   Despite this, she has a younger brother of just five years old that she shares a strong affection for and dedicates a lot of attention to finding him small gifts, sending him letters and helping him understand that he needs not fear any competition from her.
He, unlike her, has little talent for the family business and shows considerable potential merit in the ways of combat and field intrigue.
Whenever she goes back home to visit her father she makes sure to spend time with him, occasionally bringing him to Marek's Manor to meet the rest of the Twenty-Five and to see what his big sister is doing with her life.
Unlike many Kandia boys, her brother sees no reason to find her inferior due to being a woman.
It is readily apparent even to a child that the name of Stasucto will be carried on by Primus' daughter, not by him.
Instead he has voiced that he wants to be a Letanar and a career commander, which makes the family just as proud as Ginger has.   While regarded as a the black sheep branch of the family, Primus is nevertheless the Sadir Do Familine of the entire House Of Stasucto; connected to hundreds of cousins and a few siblings mostly settled on the family's ancestral lands in the Longo of Lucus just south of The Finger Straits.
Though largely regarded as the Stasuctia who left the family, Ginger herself plans on eventually returning too Lucus and reuniting the family under her own name, restoring the old family businesses and fusing them with the new, artistic ventures of her father.
While tensions are high and most of the family does not listen to Primus despite his position as the head of their house, Ginger believes that her newfound abilities will be able to convince "The Old Guard" to see the benefit of expanding their once strictly functional skills into something that adds a bit more form.

As with many Kandia, Ginger simply subscribes to the overarching Pantheonic System of Kanda.
As any good artist, she has a score and a half of artistic deities that she makes weekly sacrifices of meat and honey to as well as obviously supporting and praying to The God Of Shar Essaro, now promoted to local Gal Deity; Sarbaros.   However, she has recently started explicitly praying in private to Marek Of War-Saw as the Bringer Of Fertility and as an artistic representation of an ancient fertility god from about a thousand years ago known as Priondos; a garden oriented deity of law and justice in the Kandia mythos with numerous comedic sexual connotations.
As any good Kandia who has heard the myths of the Founders growing up, Ginger naturally views Marek Of War-Saw as second in power only to the Kandar himself and therefore views him as a god worth praying to.   In a complicated turn of events, however, Ginger has started to gain a new understanding of The Divine and its denizens!
And with that new understanding has come a closer connection to the Divine than most mortals are ever allowed to know, with exception to Enthiria and those who submit themselves to terms of divine indenture for the rewards that such services bring.
Now, with the power imparted on her by her clandestine dealings with the Pro Simian Confederacy, Ginger has begun to worry that her relationship with the divine is less than that of a mortal and the deities she prays to.

Ginger holds herself as a collected, confident and perceptive woman who seldom uses filler words or thought spacers like "Uh," "Um" "Like" "Ya Know" or other such vernacular constructs when she speaks; always maintaining near perfect elocution and social pacing while having long studied and practiced the art of Social Combat in the Kandia Culture.   Having immerse herself in classical poetry and literature as well as being fluent in Hu-Lao, Eldinia and Ducky Island Languages since very young, she's able to think in different languages and thus process information in many different cultural standards.
Her mastery of different social constructs from different cultures plays out in her speech, allowing her considerable vocabulary as well as the ability to lay out rather snappy comebacks while exchanging social quips back and forth with even the most practiced of speakers.   Despite being very lively in conversation and having a ready understanding of the art of gesture, she very seldom emphasizes with her hands or body, preferring the standard disposition of a Kandia woman to stay still when speaking so as to direct more attention to the face and voice rather than distract with the hands or bosom.
However, she has been known to "point" with an open hand at things when speaking to groups; specifically to indicate the object of her statements.   Recently, thanks to her mission in Soteri, Ginger has played the part of the perpetually busy "Boss Babe," always looking to finish a conversation quickly and move on to her next duties or find some time to exercise and blow off steam.
Much as she has become more social than ever, her existence as Grand Investigator for The Generositas and Legal Agent of Ta Thinal Do Kanda has made her more unapproachable than ever before, carrying her many miles in any given direction and back every day that she stays in the newly established Longo.

Ginger owns a Thick-Billed Raven named "Arabox" that lives with and is very affectionate toward her.
While he is not always with her she does like to carry him around from time to time just to make sure he is seen and heard.
Though not magical in nature, the bird (which weighs just over 3 pounds) is extremely intelligent, may carry on charming conversation in Kandia, was raised in captivity and has a variety of tricks and talents that allow him to have distinct utility in her life.
He is fully free-flight trained and always returns to Ginger if he cannot find his way.
Barring that he will always try to return home.   Perhaps not the most personable of pets, Arabox is extremely hand-shy around strangers and will hold out his foot when others threaten to pet him or simply tell them something along the lines of "Do Not Touch Me! I Do Not Like That!"
Despite this relatively anti-social personality, Arabox is considered an extremely well trained and impressive partner to Ginger and almost everyone that meets him loves him on sight.
While seemingly no more intelligent than any other member of his species, Ginger's Companion Raven is quite the coherent talker, knowing how to string together hundreds of different sentences with ease and skill to get his point across.
He's so well trained in the art of Kandia speech and possessing of so many different commands and tricks that he can even be trusted to deliver messages to trusted individuals that he's met several times before.

Ginger possesses the husky, deep voice of a mature woman with the ability to project astoundingly far while, at the same time, having the vocal training to consistently hit high notes for long periods of time or even change her voice entirely to one of about five other impressions she can pull off at a moment's notice.
While she has no accent in Eldin, Hu-Lao, Getania or Duckspeak she used to barely be able to string together coherent sentences in Polish or Modern English.
However, after her dealings with Zakia, her fast expanding intellect has allowed her a comprehensive fluency in both modern languages and her interactions with Jonathan Mondragon have imparted her with more than a bit of Modern Spanish.   Free from slang, sarcasm or strange vocal ticks, Ginger is seen by all of her peers as a flawless speaker with all manner of training in political and public speaking.
She orates in a level tone most times, only breaking her calm through rousing and entertaining conversation.
She does not swear or insult others but does target their social slights in conversation and, when displeased, will relay them to her interlocutor to alert them of being uncouth, often scathingly and in front of others to humble them.
Though not overly fond of it, Ginger sometimes speaks in light metaphors or indirect statements; true to the nature of her artistic lifestyle. (See her quotes)

While technically all her wealth belongs to the family at large, Ginger's father is an extremely well-to-do Partanar and provides her with a monthly stipend that she is allowed to use as she likes.
Due to her general frugality and somewhat reserved public nature Ginger has been able to amass a fair amount of personal funds with which to spend on more expensive items.
Furthermore, she has many generous admirers and may carry out her own contracts alongside trading art pieces for the goods and services of others, allowing her a glut of fiscal resources that other members of Ta Tangia Enbria simply cannot boast.   Even more importantly, her father is more than willing to provide her with nearly any and all simple requests she may have, allowing her to dedicate herself more to academic and creative ventures.
Now an official agent of Ta Thinal, her sex does not get in the way of a promised payment for her investigative services in Soteri, expecting a sizeable sum of gold and silver for her trouble. All the more impressive is the wealth that she has been promised from Longar Meningitis Soterion at the culmination of her work in the Kobori Temple Of Genesis; a restoration project she's feverishly worked at alongside her more official duties while in the Longo.
