Arcane Energy

Arcane energy (sometimes referred to as primordial energy) is the energy that flows within all things, living or otherwise.

The most abundant source of this energy are the Arcstones, the power of which has been used to great effect by the seven free cities.

Through harnessing this energy within Arcane Crystals artificers are able to create powerful magical artifacts with fantastical proprieties. Eventually people realized that through the use of specialized implements they could learn to manipulate this energy directly, and so Wielders were born.
