JB The Jury

Ty was a twin, or at least he was supposed to be. For months his parents saw two little bundles of joy on that screen, and they couldn't wait to meet them both. Tyrone and Tyrell were supposed to be the brothers that popped out on the 30th of August. But somewhere on the line Tyrell was developing abnormally and the doctors said there might be complications upon birth, and then he was just gone. The doctors said Tyrone had reabsorbed his brother, and that it happens sometimes. His parents still mourned his loss but were happy upon meeting Tyrone.

Ty grew up in the many gang neighborhoods in LA, and avoided it by just making friends with everybody. He was a funny kid, and had a sharp eye for getting out of dangerous situations. He was invited to one his friends neighborhood celebrations but had to cut out early. While walking to the train station with his headphones on, one of the people who was also at the celebration was driving drunk. He didn't hear the horns of the other drivers trying to warn him. Just as he was almost hit dead on he was snatched up and pulled over the fence but still took the brunt of the crash.

He took him a year to recover but his back always felt off. He didn't know how right he was until he was bored playing basketball by his self one day. He jumped up at the rim just playing around, try to do a reverse dunk knowing he couldn't. While jumping he felt this weird sensation in his back, and then he just hung in the air. Dangling in front of the rim, he turned his head to see two other arms sticking out his back, and another face smiling back at him. He freaked out and tried to run but he was still dangling. It was weird period of time for him dealing with the monster in his back. But he eventually got used to it, never telling anyone until his friends revealed they had powers to.
