C.I.Alternates

The C.I.Alternates are a group started by Rich O'Donnel originally called the C.I.Agents, who were used to influence, attack, and manipulate all of Latin America. Once a group of humans that was officially sanctioned by the government. They were thought to be shut down and erased from the records to keep their names of out certain scandals, like the drug trade into America's inner cities they helped create. But the reigns were actually handed over to Rich O'Donnell personally, as to have no connection to the government if they got into hot water again. This worked perfectly for a man like Rich, who began creating powered people to have a much bigger impact on his plans.

He first recruited C.I.Angel, a man from Colombia who was fed up with his countries leadership and was outspoken. Which in addition to his powers made him a target. Rich recruited him with the promise of America's backing. The next person he recruited was C.I.Alien, who the U.S. had been tracking for decades. He had been in disguise for years helping out small towns with medical problems and repairing environmental damage. He promised to his work with the group would keep small towns people safe. The next was C.I.Ape, who was a legend around Argentina. When some hunters caught him, Rich sent the other two to kill his capturers and rescue him. That was all the reason he needed to join.

This group members have nothing but good intentions, but Rich had tricked them into his own personal service. Believing he would help Latin America become safe like the U.S. and that they were a covert unit of the C.I.A., they would participate in crippling operations thinking they were helping in the long run. In reality, Rich abandoned the group years ago, and sold them off to the highest bidder. Because they communicate through encrypted messages and only knowing Rich by his nickname Red Snapper, the group is none the wiser. Being passed on and sold as a mercenary group for hire without even realizing.
