Ignarim
Long ago from wars and other interactions between Orcs and Humans, Ignarim have come into being. There were enough of them that came to be that they are recognized as a full race in Selanden. Sharing characteristics from both Humans and Orcs, they tend to be tough and adaptive. Though like Orcs they tend to not be received well in many civilized places, they tend to exist on the outskirts of society. Like Orcs a portion of the curse of the Darkflame is imprinted upon them though to a lesser degree than full Orcs. Some embrace it and others reject it. Orcs generally see Ignarim as weaker and a liability compared to a pure Orc, but they have been more historically tolerant of the half-breeds than Elves have been towards their non-pure brethren.
Playing an Ignarim
Inheriting traits from both Human and Orc ancestors, Half-Orcs share their Orc kin's struggle with the Darkflame, albeit to a lesser extent. Often seen as uncivilized or monstrous, they typically gravitate towards laborious professions where they can channel their raw energy. A Half-Orc against type might be languid or scholarly, embracing intellectual challenges over physical ones. They could also be remarkably sociable, effortlessly bridging the gap between their dual heritages and the broader world. Iganarim (Half-Orc Variant) Creature Type You are a Humanoid.
