Meraki has given her Light to the Elysian faith to help fend off the darkness and chaos that swarms the human race. When bestowed upon Solarch Valcian, he had claimed that its Light would never be abused and only used to fend off the Maiaaks of the world. Naming it the Aethereal, Solarch Valcian, and every Solarch after him has protected the Aethereal and kept it under secrecy, only using it in dire need.
