Virgil Octavia
Virgil Octavia was the leader of the criminal syndicate that plagued the frontiers of Paradenia. He is the founder of Nirvana and ruled over the Skulls, Honeybadgers, Ants, and Vulture bandits and often negotiated with Claw and other powerful under lords.
In his early years, Virgil worked as a researcher of Dragonshards. During the research, an incident incited at Khor Hamrihan, creating an explosion and corrosion of dragonshards. The corrupted dragonshards easily cause magical disease, killing hundreds of workers and residents.
These dragonshards have permanently tampered the natural environment of Eborra and the creatures living near Khor Hamrihan. The Octavia family were blamed for their research and banished from entering any capitol within Paradenia.
Banished from his home, Virgil resorted to continue his personal studies researching artifacts and archeological sites that emanate magic similar to dragonshards. All while damning the nobles that banished his family line.
In his ventures he found Saudia Yaeldrin, who prophesized that he is the chosen to save her world and he carries the blood of the dragons.
Virgil spent his later years to better the lives of those outcast as he were, be it good or bad persons. He dedicated his resources into finding a cure for Saudia- who he came to love and eventually married and fathered two sons, Lael and Orn.
At some time, Virgil allied with Eliza into creating a clone of his sons to tap into the draconic power that lied within their blood. Eliza would ultimately betray Virgil, taking the clone, his son Beiro and killing Saudia before cursing him and Nirvana as a whole of forgetfulness.
With missing memories and the loss of his wife, Virgil’s despair transformed into cruelty. With only Lael present, he’d experiment on his own son to activate the draconic bloodline within him, before losing Lael years later.
Virgil spent years of connecting, leading, and gathering for one sole purpose. To save Saudia’s world no matter the cost. With Leonard Lionheart and Aurora’s aid, Virgil sacrificed himself to reincarnate a bronze dragon.
The dragon was last seen entering the Astral Sea through a rift above Nirvana.
