Uses
Plant Shelters are used to protect plants from the winds of Strion, which cause the plants to die early on in their life-cycle. These shelters are used to protect modified plants (that are not natural to Strion) and natural plants that have no natural shelter available. These shelters have revolutionised the way that Strions study and grow plants, and helped them to adapt to the harsh ways of their planet.Natural vs Modified Plants
Strions are adventurous, and this leads them to experiment with science. They often explore, and bring back plants that are not natural to their planet. This means they must modify them to be able to withstand the harsh climate of Strion, or protect them with technology such as Plant Shelters.Appearance
Plant Shelters are a clear dome that covers a growing plant. It is made of a scientifically enhanced material that adapts as the plant grows so that it is always fully covered. Some shelters may even be fitted with systems that provide the plants with thge specific nutrients that they need to grow. Some may compare plant shelters to the greenhouse used on earth, and allow they have a similar appearance, they serve different purposes.
