The Bardane Family
One of the "First Families" on Demeter, the Bardane Family has much of it's stock in vast herds of gene-crafted cattle.
The family has a reputation for being tough, necessitated by the fact that their line of work practically invites certain bad actors across the planet (and sometimes in the employ of another First Family) to try and take their livestock.
The Current matriarch of the Avalos Family is a Bardane and the two families have enjoy a close relation since the marriage. This allyship is also somewhat necessitated by the Kyprou Family, who has made an enemy of both and continues to attempt to undermine them both. As such, it's not uncommon for the family members of Avalos and Bardane, their hired guns, and their hands, to be seen together at all hours of the day.
