The Kyprou Family

One of the "originals" of the planet Demeter, the Kyprou's were one of the original three-hundred families that landed on the planet to colonize it, putting them in a preeminent position to be enriched by the farm-world's vast swaths of fertile and arable land.

The Kyprou's are noted for their seeming political ambitions, despite being from a frontier world, and have had a long-standing feud with the Avalos Family, apparently spawned from some event near the colonies founding, which explodes into very real violence every couple of decades.
