Uggramme Island

Uggramme Island is a singular anomaly within Arvore, known for its rare and unsettling ability to accept technology where the rest of the planet refuses it. Shrouded in perpetual fog, the island has long been home to native tribes whose relationships are defined not by war, but by constant competition. Their borders are fluid and ever-shifting, claimed through clever negotiation, assertive presence, ritualized games, or formal tournaments rather than bloodshed. Territory may be won, gifted, or traded, and dominance is respected as a natural state of life rather than a cause for resentment. This philosophy has shaped Uggramme into a land where rivalry is cultural, not destructive, and where survival depends on wit and adaptability rather than force.

At the heart of the island stands the vast citadel of the The Residennia Religarchy, which seized the central lands and transformed them into a heavily populated stronghold. The tribes, true to their traditions, harbor little bitterness toward this loss, recognizing dominance—whether native or foreign—as an expected outcome of competition. Yet concern grows beyond Uggramme’s foggy shores. Many across Arvore believe the tribes’ continued infighting now weakens them, leaving room for the Religarchy’s slow, deliberate expansion. As Residennia’s rule becomes increasingly authoritarian, voices from outside urge the tribes to abandon rivalry and unite, warning that if they do not stand together, the citadel may one day consume the island entire—fog, tribes, and all.
