The Residennia Religarchy

The Residennia Religarchy is a fortified citadel-kingdom hidden deep within Uggramme Island, a land perpetually veiled in dense, eternal fog. Since ancient times, the island has been home to numerous native tribes locked in constant competition for territory and influence. Contrary to outside assumptions, these rivalries are not born of bloodshed. The tribes of Uggramme rarely wage war; instead, borders shift through calculated diplomacy, ritualized negotiations, and, at times, subtle but assertive pressure. This delicate balance of power shaped the island into a place where words, presence, and strategy hold greater weight than blades, and where conflict is resolved through endurance rather than violence.

When Arvore was first discovered by the wider Sisterworlds, Uggramme became the stage for quiet paranoia. Elite politicians from other nations within Arovre secretly convened within the fog, forming what would become the Residennia Religarchy—originally a clandestine organization designed to prepare for the possibility of a potential invasion. Though the The Solarian Sisterworld Alliance ultimately respected Arvore’s sovereignty, rendering such plans unnecessary, Residennia endured and expanded, transforming into a sprawling city at the island’s heart. Strikingly, it remains one of the only places in Arvore where technology functions reliably, a fact that fuels deep controversy. Many see Residennia as a necessary safeguard, a silent sentinel ready to retaliate if peace is broken. Others view it as an intrusion—an act of occupation imposed upon sacred tribal land, built on mistrust and contradiction, and standing in quiet defiance of Arvore’s natural laws.
