Mistmime
"The Mistmime is an eerie entertainer, combining phantom shapeshifting, hypnotic illusions, and obscuring mist magic. Mistmimes specialize in controlling and disorienting groups through unsettling performances and jester tricks that can blind, paralyze, or hypnotize. They phase through walls in phantom form, leaving behind only a drifting mist and echoes of mocking laughter."
The Mistmime uses a phantom form to phase through walls and reach otherwise unreachable areas, flanking enemies successfully or discovering treasures without the need for lockpicking doors. Their regular attacks are weak, emphasizing on the use of Jests, AOE spells that affect enemies nearby into different kinds of hypnotized states.
Abilities:
Mist Form – You turn into mist for the current turn, giving 10m extra movement speed and allowing you to pass through what is solid. You cannot cast any abilities or attacks while in Mist form, but you can still take damage although halved.
Curtain of Mist – You turn into a small to medium radius of Mist, blinding and dazing anyone within, but endangering yourself to take more damage across a wider area.
Hypnotic Jest – You go into a state of entrancing dancing and jesting, mesmerizing anyone within including allies. Creatures nearby become hypnotized and have to roll each turn to break the spell.
Mime's Mockery – You cast a spell on an enemy that creates a duplicate of them, following them and performing every action they perform, on themselves. The enemy must attack the duplicate directly to defeat it.
Gleaming Jest – You go into a state of blinding and deafening laughter, blinding and deafening every creature nearby.
Misty Escape – Once per long rest, if brought down to 0 HP, you instead regain to 1 HP and gain Mist Form and Dash at once, leaving behind a cloud of laughter that will deafen anyone near it.
Ultimate Ability – Grand Masquerade – You envelop the entire battlefield in your mist, as laughter and jests and tricks flow upon it and affect everyone, not including allies.
