Leonid

Leonids are a rare race of humans marked by feline-like traits, passed down through a phenomenon known as Observational Evolution—an extraordinary ability of the human brain to adopt features from creatures it coexists with. Originating on the vast, floating island of Kellasis, the Leonid people lived in close harmony with great feline beasts, taming and bonding with them over generations. This constant exposure gradually gifted their descendants with heightened survival instincts, resulting in nimble, silent, and compact bodies ideal for stealth and agility. Uniquely, the Leonid gene only expresses itself in female offspring, while males carry the trait dormant—acting as silent hosts, bearing no physical changes.
