Burg

Species: Devaronian Current (suspected) Location: Nar Shaddaa   Burg is a Devaronian mercenary, who previously served as First Bodyguard to Rali Teken, prior to his murder.   Burg's Betrayal On the night of Rali Teken 's assassination, Burg was meant to be in charge of guard duty. However, he was seduced by Mezuus Be and lured away from his position in Rali's presence, thus allowing the assassins to move in and kill Rali. Following the assassination, and Praad Be 's takeover of the criminal empire, Mezuus offered Burg amnesty and a position in the new Be crime family. Burg played along and accepted a position as a guard; however, just a few days later he left and ran to Nar Shaddaa to hide. Since taking residency on Nar Shaddaa, he has hired himself out on the mercenary circuit, and proved adept at the work, including undertaking jobs with Ranzar Malk.   Burg's Knowledge of Praad Be's Business Burg has had a discussion with Telil Teken in a dive bar on Nar Shaddaa (the 'Bar Shaddaa'), sharing what he knows about Praad Be's running of the criminal empire - how the Trandoshan has lost several elements of Rali's old empire. In particular, Praad has given up on the blurrg smuggling plan (one of the most lucrative smuggling means), and has lost many of his starships to pirates. The other ships have been mothballed, as Praad is now unsure what to do with them.   Burg infomed Telil that he knows that there may be a few others in the empre that might still be loyal to the Teken family; however, a number were murdered on the same night as Rali was. He does know of two who fled: Iax Shadowsun and Niule - both fled to Tatooine, but Burg does not know what became of them after that.   Burg has said he would absolutely return with Telil to get revenge on Praad and Mezuus; however, he is currently loathe to leave Nar Shaddaa for now.
