Rali Teken

Species: Ewok   Rali was the father of Telil Teken. He was a notorious crime lord, who operated from the planet Kef Bir in the south-east quadrant of the Outer Rim. Soon after the fall of the Empire, Rali was murdered and hs crime syndicate taken over by Praad Be.   When Telil was a very young Ewok and the Teken family all still lived on Endor, a pirate spaceship had to perform an emergency landing on Endor. Rali became infatuated with the actions of the pirates and their apparent freedom to go where they wanted and snuck aboard, leaving his family behind. The pirates soon found him and found it comical that a 'teddy bear' wanted to join their merry band so, on their next robbery, they armed him and he joined in.   It turned out, Rali had a real zest for crime and a good nose for sniffing out loot. The pirates were very impressed and soon Rali was a regular member of the gang. Soon after, they bought a comms/translator for him, allowing him more access to their criminal plans and meetings. His star continued to rise and soon he was leading the pirate group and, together, they were taking more credits than any could ever dream of. Over the following years, Rali continued to increase the gang's standing and, soon, the gang establishes a base on the planet Kef Bir (close to Endor). They run all the smuggled goods through Endor (as nobody would ever think to look there!) and business is good.   Rali then moves his family from Endor to join him on Kef Bir, showing them the successes he has had, and son Telil starts to take on running parts of the business. Around the year 1 ABY, the Empire starts building a second Death Star in orbit around the planet Endor, which severely disrupts Rali's criminal enterprises. In order to remain operational, Rali starts making deals with Trandoshian smugglers and criminals, and comes in to contact with Mezuus Be. This began the story that lead to Rali's death and the loss of the criminal empire to bloodthirsty Trandoshians...
