Skin Weave Technology

This fabric has revolutioned warfare.
It is thin and bendable with some elasticity, and spreads the impact from energy evenly. It has a limit, but it will take a few shots in succession before needing a moment to realign itself.
It has several uses, notably in expensive machinery, but for the most part it is used to make skintight bodysuits for solders and police to wear under their uniforms.
Without the use for heavy, bulky armor these under clothes armors has given a rebirth to sleek, decorated uniforms of a bygone era.

Utility

The Skin Weave is used in abundance to create bodysuits for soldiers and in modern vaccsuits, but it is also used in big factory machinery that tend to overheat or includes a lot of smashing.

Manufacturing

The suits are made on big machines in automaton factories.
In general, it is easier to construct the finished product in the same process as the Skin Weave itself.

Social Impact

Without the use for heavy, bulky armor these under clothes armors has given a rebirth to sleek, decorated uniforms of a bygone era.
Access & Availability
Common in the military, rare in the general populus, as the fabric is quite expensive and dificult to work with without proper equipment.

I made this world because my mind keeps rambling, and instead of stopping it, I'm riding the wave.
It started with a picture in my mind of a tiger man in a small spacecraft following a giant tiger in space, in the tone of old saturday morning cartoons and the Heavy Metal animated movie.
Then came the idea of his occational ally, a woman in space flying a small asteroid. The more I wrote on her, the more I got intrigued by the past, I deviced.
Right now the flow is focused on her background - namely all related to The Genesis Project.
I do all of the writing and almost all of the drawing myself at this point.
My hope for Star Tiger is a published story or a graphical novel, but my big dream is an animated show.
