Skin Weave Bodysuit

A skin tight bodysuit made from the groundbreaking Skin Weave fabric.
These bodysuits make it possible to wear armor underneath your clothes without giving it away.
They have also grown popular as an undersuit for the modern military uniform.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The fabric is durable yet elastic, and any impact gets distributed evenly across the surface. These suits can take a couple of rounds or blasts in succession and after a short realignment period, the suit is ready to withstand another couple of rounds again.

Manufacturing process

The suits are made on big machines in automaton factories.
In general it is easier to construct the product in the same process as the Skin Weave itself.

Significance

The suits were quickly implemented as part of the uniform for the military, where the soldiers now can move more freely than they ever could in bulkier armors and mech suits.

Rarity
Common in the military, rare in the general populus, as the fabric is quite expensive and dificult to work with without proper equipment.
Raw materials & Components
The suit's main component is the Skin Weave fabric.
Tools
To pierce the Skin Weave for tailoring or repairs (elegantly) generally requires an automaton workbench, specifically a specialized Skin Weave sewing machine.
On the field, emergency repairs can be done with laser cutting tools and the like. It can do the job, but it won't be pretty again after that.

I made this world because my mind keeps rambling, and instead of stopping it, I'm riding the wave.
It started with a picture in my mind of a tiger man in a small spacecraft following a giant tiger in space, in the tone of old saturday morning cartoons and the Heavy Metal animated movie.
Then came the idea of his occational ally, a woman in space flying a small asteroid. The more I wrote on her, the more I got intrigued by the past, I deviced.
Right now the flow is focused on her background - namely all related to The Genesis Project.
I do all of the writing and almost all of the drawing myself at this point.
My hope for Star Tiger is a published story or a graphical novel, but my big dream is an animated show.
