The Marigold Empire
Structure
For all intense and purposes the Marigold Empire is a Absolute Monarchy run by a single ruler known as the Emperor Victorious. Behind him is the Marigold Family of which the Emperor Victorious is born from. The Emperor Victorious does not rule simply by theology or belief, but by the ideal that mankind has been in the shadows for too long, used as cannon fodder during the Calamity against the Eldrazi, the Emperor Victorious as well as citizens of the Marigold Empire wish to show the world they won't be used anymore and will rule the world with a fist denser and harder than iron.
Below the Emperor Victorious and the Marigold Family are the Marinat who have the ear of the Emperor Victorious, there are currently nine of them. They are all equal in power, although some carry more favor the more they fund the Marigold Empire's ambitions. Usually these are wealthy merchants or those married into the family, but are not of blood relation to the Emperor Victorious.
Culture
The citizens and even the Marigold Family are very humanist, believing that it is the human races fate to rise above any challenge no matter the odds, and save the world from itself, after all it was during the Calamity that the humans bore their weapons and fought of the great and mighty Ulumoa, and it was the humans that defeated the first Eldrazi, despite being used as cannon fodder and thought of as nothing by the other races.
Marigold culture is also about the idea that whatever any other race can do, humans can do just as well given time. The believe in the human spirit, the drive to continue no matter the odds and to adapt to any situation is very well believed in and reflects so in their culture through the reliance on technology. Dragonborn can breathe fire? with gunpowder and sparks so can humans. Grung create poison? with alchemical processes so can humans. Aarakocra can fly? with technology so can humans via airships. This ideal soaks into every fiber of a Marinian human.
There is also a very large work culture that praises and rewards those who contribute to society and to the Emperor Victorious' endeavors with those who contribute being treated fairly and reaping the rewards of their labor, while the lower class are mostly abandoned and disregarded, left to the slums to die from disease, poverty, and crime.
Public Agenda
The public agenda of the Marigold Empire is as clear as day to any and all who know of the Empire. It is simply to prove to the rest of the world that humans aren't at the bottom of the barrel, and to show the rest of the races that humans are no longer cannon fodder for the other races, and that they will show their might and their potential. Currently they are taking over multiple free cities as well as encroaching on other nations territories, constantly pushing the other nations borders back inch by inch.

Much like the other nations of Helvetica, the Marigold Empire uses platinum, gold, electrum, silver, and copper except you can tell when a coin has been minted in the Marigold Empire as it has a symbol of a griffin with a crown on it, the symbol of the Marigold Empire.
