Mental characteristics
Personal history
As a young tortle, he spent most of his time in the gathering and growing of food on Mancay Island, and he took on the task of helping and guiding refugees that came here seeking a new life, and an escape from the The Fall of Saikar. He proved one of Mother's most loyal followers, and she took note of his kind demeanour, charisma, and abilities to teach and convert refugees to their cause. She eventually rewarded him, at the age of 150, with a role as one of her revered Maharshi, those of her inner circle and the only ones granted the priviledge of personal interaction. As Mother's sanity left her, however, she became suspicious of this circle. Eventually all were killed by her in bouts of rage and paranoia, save Osiris. Now, he serves as her personal caretaker, helping her through her manic mood changes, tending to her growths, and transmitting her word to the people of the Flock.
Education
Osiris was educated by his druidic parents, learning the Ways of the Circle of the Giver, and important skills and practices of coexistance with the natural world.
Failures & Embarrassments
While working as the caretaker of the refugees, he had been engaged in a campaign to recruit and transport people from the cities to Mancay Island. However, after many successful runs, he got careless. One such shipment of people was caught by The Shadowed Eyes of Saikar, and all were arrested or killed. While the location of the Flock camp remained secure, he has never again let his guard down.
Mental Trauma
Watching as, one by one, Mother Willow killed off her other Maharshi.
Intellectual Characteristics
He is wise, and very good with people, but his knowledge of things beyond nature, druidic magics, and the teachings of Mother is extremely limited.
Morality & Philosophy
One must exist in cohabitation with nature around them. The destruction of the natural environment and the draining of Mother's gifts by the Saikar is an unforgivable sin.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
He is determined to protect the refugees and help keep Mother Willow safe until the day when her power is regained.
Savvies & Ineptitudes
He is clumsy and not particularly capable in a fight. However, he excels in connecting with and talking to people, and is very convincing.
Hygiene
While he does not actively wash on a regular basis, his time spent in the water does keep him relatively free of soil. His removal from the dirty Saikar society and the chemicals and tech therein leaves him seeming somewhat like an unwashed hippy, without the B.O.
Social
Speech
He has a deep, gravelly, slow speech with a slight southern accent. He often leads off sentences or paragraphs a "mmmmm" sometimes bleeding into the first syllable of the sentence with a stutter.
