The Townies
The Townies are a rebel cell that is part of the Pacifica Liberation Front. They operate around Draka, and are known for the loyalty and ingenuity. Many of them are trained on Draka, but a select few have been known to get additional training off-world. The townies are unrivaled in urban guerilla warfare, and have had decadess of experience fighting the empire on Draka.
Structure
Because of their proximity, the Townies are organized into a complex web of self-sustaining militias. Most operate completely independent on a tactical level. Strategic operations are maintained through a tightly organized messenger network that is known to imperial intelligence as the pigeons. These messengers help Frieda Drako organize the townies with a planetwide strategy. The imperial intelligence struggles to put together the whole picture of the townies' strategy, but their results speak for themselves. Of the last five imperial governors, two have been killed by the townies, and trillions of dollars in damage to imperial assets have been done in the last year alone.
