Partizans

A resistance group that operates at the heart of the empire. They were organized by Epsilon, and have been hunted for years by Imperial Intelligence. They are radical, anti-establishment, fully democratic resistance movement. The Partizans have been responsible for several raids, bombings, kidnappings and robberies within the Core Systems. Weapons and systems captured by imperial authorities can be traced back to the Mid Rim. The core of the group represents the most oppressed groups in Imperial space. Freed slaves and indentured servants, former soldiers who have been radicalized, forgotten gutter rats from the lowest levels on Morgol, all of them have a bone to pick with the empire. They are heavily armed, and tacitically one of the most successful groups in the entire galaxy. They scrape by with whatever they have, and are never afraid to take any chance they can to punch the empire right in the nose. Their leader, Epsilon has remained in her position because of her ability to sniff out spies and pretenders. Imperial Intelligence has struggled to keep a lid on the group, losing several supervisors in their chase.

Structure

Epsilon has lead from the begining, but the other officers are regularly elected and nominated from those within the organization. It is a tightly-knit group, with no more than a few hundred at a time, split up into cells that are scattered around the Core systems. Each cell has an elected leader that answers directly to Epsilon and her core cell. The core group, numbering maybe a few dozen at most are the most loyal and dedicated followers of the cause. They move from system to system, aboard an experiemental gate runner outfitted with advanced stealth technology.

Assets

The partizans scrape by with what they have access to. Alongside Epsilon's gate runner, the partizans have access to a dozen Stilleto interceptors, four "Spear" fighters, and at least two Chimera gunships. They also have access to several mechanized chassis and a large amount of small arms, explosives and GOMP launchers.
