Piskan
I think about the fish’s lungs, full of water. Is not the sea contained within the fish, too?
-Annie Fisher, The Greater Picture
Piskans are small, humanoid fish spirits that are common throughout Southreach. They are squat, hardy creatures known for their toughness and adaptability—which is probably why they've integrated so well into human society. They are said to represent perseverance and strength in the face of adversity.
