Corroded Maelstrom
Appearing about once a year the Corroded Maelstrom arrives bringing a path of destruction with it wherever its path leads it. Anything that falls in its massive 1,000 mile wide berth is subjected to high winds and corrosive rain drops. The storm passes quickly but the destruction left in its wake is devastating. While there are times the storm comes in lighter but one thing is for certain it will come and it will bring with it devastation none the less.
Manifestation
What causes the Maelstrom has been greatly debated but one thing is for certain, unlike most storms it never full dissipates, this storm has been raging since the dawn of recorded history. The storm grows and shrinks depending on the season and its time spent above the ocean. The storm appears as a soft green rain cloud at first, something that if you didn't stare at it for long enough might have believed it to be a worry creeping into your mind. But slowly the clouds thicken so much so that the sun is almost completely blotted out by its might and the only illumination comes from the purple lightning strikes that come along with it.
