Zero Blackheart
Zero Blackheart was one of the songs of Shadow Blackheart and is, of course, of the Blackheart Family. As such this made him part Demonic and Draconic; though he rarely demonstrated these traits. He instead showcased more of his Fallen Angel powers. Noted as an incarnation of the Fallen Angel of Misery, particularly the 13th. He is regarded as one of the most infamous criminals as of recent times.
A student of Corus the Revolutionary, influenced by and having taken part with the fall of the Mephisto Empire. His influence was felt within eras such as the Warring States, the Dark Council, the Tatara Wars, the Dusk War, and to some extent the Hell Rebellion... as well as most operations involving the Demonic Arms from the time of its inception to the time of his death. He was considered exceptionally powerful, and rather tricky to be dealt with in combat due to his numerous abilities. Zero was a bit of an anarchist, believing that the corrupt systems of the world deserved to be abolished; though in time he soon turned to the belief that everything should be burned to the ground so that it may arise anew.
Appearance
Zero's appearance varied greatly throughout the wars, due to constant battle damage and body modifications- and later body theft. His constant features were that of his face. Dark blue eyes described as dark sapphires which could glow silvery white, a pale complexion that never seemed to really change, and then long hair. His hair color in his early years was brown; though during and after the events of the Terminator Wars he adopted his white hair color much as his brother Leo had. Zero typically could be found in dark clothing, black long coats and cloaks mostly. At times he would sport black angel wings.Personality
Zero's personality varies greatly over the years as he was driven further into darkness. Before the Mephisto Downfall he was thoughtful, caring, a bit of a proud warrior willing to do the right thing though with no direction. After he met Corus and learned the truth of his people he became a man of conviction and rebellion, seeking to improve the lives of the people. Come the Warring states he became a twisted man who grew sick of people throwing their lives away for a cause they knew nothing about, leading to him lashing out often at his enemies. It was during this era of warfare where his dark side grew rapidly. Over the course of the Warring States Zero became known for his revolutionary ideals, to take down systems believing them to be leading people astray. Anarchy in short. He began to garner a philosophy on life and pain, cutting off the outside world. Yet when it came to his allies he still appeared to care greatly, willing to do whatever he could to aid them. By war's end, Zero had appeared ready to give it all up given peace talks with his childhood friend; though with Midori's betrayal, his friend's death, and the Terminator all of that would be lost. From then on Zero became locked to his objectives and beliefs- to destroy the systems and free the people, to build them a better world. His god complex grew rapidly as his depression corroded him. By the time of the Dark Council and Tatara he was not above killing civilians to achieve his goals, and following the second Tatara conflict he would seek peace through burning and killing everything. At the time of his death and final battle, he had been driven so mad that he would betray even his allies and be completely swallowed in grief and rage + his desire to destroy.Abilities
His abilities were countless due to the various components of his being. He held Demonic Powers, Draconic Powers, Angelic Powers, Elemental Control, and the God Eye. Though he could not perform true magic he was well enough gifted in various powers of the other aspects of his makeup. He was capable of warping reality to his designs in battle, with the God Eye to turn his thoughts into reality. As well as this his numerous Draconic, Demonic, and Fallen Angel powers. He had become both a Withered Angel and the Fallen King at one point though both of these powers were temporary. Zero's power allowed for him to even cheat death on numerous occasions. It is said that the only reason he lost to Soul was because of how mad he had become to not even try and escape his demise; though none are absolutely positive if he would have been able to escape regardless.History
The Mephisto
Zero's origins are unknown aside from the year of his birth. He was raised within the Mephisto Empire, a powerful demon tribe that ruled much of the Midnight Realm. Zero was brought up under the Mephisto Emperor, with his Blackheart name being known by many within the Empire. Until the age of twelve he was taught and trained by numerous instructors, all of the best of the Empire. Once he was old enough to have a master he was assigned to Ryuu, one of the Emperor's best warriors. Over the years he went on numerous missions for his emperor and meet many people. While he knew himself to be adopted in, he still valued the family he had who treated him as one of their own. He also found great joy in his friendship with Tara Frost, daughter of one of the Frost Clan's ambassador's. In his mid-teens in the year 39 B.H.F. he met the infamous Corus, a man who opposed the likes of the Mephisto and the United Dimension Federation, viewing them as corrupt inflated powers who did not have the interests of the people in mind. The two would go on to form a partnership and in the next few years Zero would learn much about his Empire and the other great powers. This would come to a head after Zero learned of the Emperor's involvement in making several of Zero's good friends disappear over the years. In the year 37 B.H.F. the now 18 year old Zero went on to confront his adoptive father and learn the truth. Zero would also go on to learn of the Emperor's plans to trigger a war between two rival factions, using the chaos to conquer both. In a bid to stop his father and take revenge he attacked; though was instead forced into a battle in which his eldest sibling would accidentally be killed. Zero fled the battle, becoming an enemy of the Empire near instantly; though months later he would return with his own force. Having formed an elite unite, the Taoreta, and with the direction of Corus, the entire group went on to raid the capital and later obliterate it by triggering the city's reactor; though there were no casualties as the city had long-since been evacuated. Zero would claim the life of his adoptive father and go on the run, hunted by the Federation. The Home Lands
Zero and the Taoreta eventually arrived in PSony-3 after trailing the XAT Realm for a few years. Here they would fall under the leadership of Jack Scene, working as thugs at first to make a little money. Around 35 B.H.F. they'd begin to operate in the Home Lands, working for Scene and his cartel until eventually gathering enough funds to form his own mercenary order, dubbed the Sapphire Ravens. With this merc group they'd go on to take on numerous quests for citizens and corporations alike. Eventually the group would fall back under Corus's influence as the Revolutionary continued to teach Zero. Things would be slow as the Corporate Tensions had not yet arisen though in due time they would. More 'illicit' groups would begin to arrive and carve out portions of the underground of the Home Lands. Nothing would change until these corporations and other governing powers began to employ the mercenaries to deal with mobs, pirates, and other adversaries. The trouble would come when said mercenaries began to accidentally attack rivals. Accidental clashes of mercenaries here, increased crime by organized bandits there, the losses in profit for rival corporations all around and the gains for those who could stay affloat. And bit by bit the future was set. Those of power began to see how they could use their forces to strong arm, to divert raiders to their enemies who seemed weaker, to demand more profit, and to police. Eventually said mercenaries would even be used to start attacking rival factions, using said mercs to pose as bandits to shift blame. The Sapphire Ravens would be one of dozens of groups involved, sticking to the more 'mob-esc' territories where Mob Bosses would fight for control. Tensions continued to get worse until 27 B.H.F. when it became evident that war was inevitable. During this time Zero and Corus had begun to plot for the coming war, intending to turn it into a revolution to abolish the corrupt ruling powers that would trigger it. All the while the Sapphire Ravens garnered more and more fame and power. It all boiled over in the year 24 when the Corporation War began, corporate powers having at it with one another unleashing their leagues of mercenaries. While it was not a true war with battlefronts it was still a devastating violence fought in the streets and fields with hundreds dying regularly. It was during the 2 years of the Corporate Wars when Zero was introduced to Shadow Blackheart, his father, and several of the other Blackheart siblings such as Leo and Victoria. With the backing of the Dominions and the teachings of Corus and the fact that in under two years the corporations were already spent, the Sapphire Ravens were set to begin the revolution to transform the Home Lands. Come the turn of 22 B.H.F. as the last of the corporations backed out, the state of conflict became one of unknown nature. Powers great like the Dominions held territory and the soldiers now despite not owning the lands outright. Not one power dared to make a move lest it trigger a true war which could outright destroy everything. The stalemate lasted for months, no power willing to make a move at first; though as time passed and they were able to reflect on what had been, an answer was soon found. The Corporations had used Mercenary Groups in secret, proxies. And so the idea was born- Proxy Wars. The mighty empires need not involve themselves and trigger a war--- their underling could do that instead. And so came the next stage: The Warring States period. The Warring States
Zero and his Sapphire Ravens faced off against countless enemies as the proxy for the Shadow Dominions. With Corus's message of Revolution and the power built up by Zero with the Dominion's backing, few would be capable of stopping the Ravens. Soon as a force of evil against the status quo they adopted the name, The Demonic Arms. A true rival would not appear until 19 B.H.F. during which time the Cynder Alliance and other guilds of equal power showed.Kimmy the Time Lord, Tyrant Dash the Sealer, Sujit the Machine, Kovu the Strong, and many more. The Alliance would prove most capable of strong arming Zero's strongest fighters, stopping even his own march. To compensate an arms race began. Zero had begun to experiment on not only himself but others- implanting components such as Sharingan and parts of the spirits of Hollows (Bleach) and Soul Reapers (Bleach). Through experimenting on himself he acquired the God Eye, and by experimenting on others he created the J-Zombie Project. He would also experiment with numerous methods to prolong his life as well as the lives of his comrades, including pulling a literal Davy Jones by placing his heart in a box so that his body would be invincible. This back and forth went on for many many years until around 14 B.H.F. when Zero was cornered following the battle of Lockwood. Caught by all of the alliance's top fighters, Zero knew he would be dead unable to escape. And so forfeiting his own body, Zero chose to preserve himself to carry on his late master's ideals of Revolution. Using the God Eye and the knowledge that his Fallen Angel Aspect would reincarnate, he anchored his soul to the aspect and would later hijack the body of the 14th Incarnation of Misery. Then, using the God Eye, he restructured the body in months to become more accommodating. Zero's return to the front lines would shock many; but again not much would change. And so it continued again until 11 B.H.F. when the Cynder Alliance left the Home Lands. The Warring States had begun to die down. With Cynder Alliance's departure there were few to challenge the Demonic Arms; though by said point many had tired of the wars in the streets. And so a new alliance came forth, hired on by those wishing to end the conflict. Many foresaw Zero and his order as the remaining thorn preventing peace, and so the United Dimension Federation was called in to deal the final blow. He battled his old friend, Tara, into what was almost a stalemate over the course of multiple days. Zero ultimately lost that fight. Rather than kill Zero though, Tara insisted upon peace and rebuilding Home together. Somehow or another this plea worked- Zero surrendered to the Federation and following the Federation's arrival, the wars would die down. All would be good up until 9 B.H.F. when one of Zero's former scientists- Dr. Midori, turned rogue. Revealing a machine army, Midori used his forces to attack and wipe out the conference's leaders one by one. Tara would be killed in the battle, and a wrathful Zero would barely escape with his life. This event would trigger the Terminator Wars.Terminator Wars, Home's End
The Terminator Wars would officially begin in 9 B.H.F. with Midori's forces assassinating the UDF Ambassadors and several of Zero's allies. From this point on the Dominions and the different guilds would be forced into defending the Home Lands from the onslaught of the Machine Army, commanded by Dr. Midori and Tobex Tatara. All of the alliances against Midori and his machine army. Several within both Federation and DA ranks had joined with Midori to create the forces in secret. The specific records of this time are largely lost. Zero would fight battle after battle and watch his comrades perish one by one. Zero was there at the first battle and there at the last battle where his team launched a final all-or-nothing assault on what was believed to be Midori's center of operations. With this final suicide assault, most of Zero's team was wiped out; though victory would be secured... at a price. In his last moments Midori had triggered a device, the Vertex Bomb, which would poison and destroy the whole of the Home Lands. Remnants of the machines also continued to fight under independent command. For Zero though the war was over, wrapped in grief he retired from the front lines and disappeared. From 6 BHF until 6 AH, a decade, Zero would be MIA much like the rest of his family- until appearing in the Mugen Realm. The Chaos Wars
From 8 AH until 37 AH, Zero was a constant presence of anarchy and rebellion. He'd descend further and further into madness as the years went on, consumed by his own mind and warped by his own power. He would join his Demonic Arms with the Dark Council and go to war against the new New Genesis Alliance. He would occupy parts of Mugen's Hell. He would invade the Mugen Heavens. He and his associates would destroy much of what the Alliance was trying to establish and even fight against the Federation once more. Come the time of the Tatara though, Zero and his forces would be crushed like the rest of the Dark Council. He was present during the war, helping and fighting the Tatara at numerous points before disappearing from the spotlight. Zero would make appearances a few times up until 19 AH at which point he'd vanish. It is said though that his influence behind the scenes played part in the Tatara's second invasion as well as the eventual Dusk Wars that followed. Zero also helped stage the Demon Rebellion. Zero would be found again in 37 AH nearly two decades since his last appearance. Confronted by Soul Ripper of the New Genesis Alliance, Zero agreed to a final battle- having amassed enough power and Chaos Energy from all of the wars to create a super weapon said able to be capable of destroying an entire star by infecting it like a virus. During this battle Zero and the weapon had fused, the fallen angel pushed to his limits by Soul and his Beast. What exactly happened is unknown due to the distortion of reality; but by battle's end- Zero was slain. His essence erased.Character Facts
