United Dimension Federation

The United Dimension Federation, or the UDF for short, is one of the top powers of the Hollowverse. In years passed they stood second only to the Shadow Dominions; though following massive losses from four Great Wars spanning from 14 A.H. to 37 A.H. they have lost much of what made them untouchable. From the Dark Council conflict to the 1st and 2nd Tatara War(s), and the Dusk Wars- the Federation has lost much of its leadership, its numbers, its resources, its elite magic warriors, and its support. They are in fact staying neutral with the Dominions in the face of this Great War with the other Great Powers: The Galvaron Empire, The Legion of the Stars, The Synaxis Republic, doing so because they believe if the Dominions go down they will be next.   They have not formally allied with the Dominions, due to past issues revolving around the likes of Zero.  

History

The Federation has existed for many many years at this point and yet their accomplishments are relatively undocumented. They act as a police force, funded by the various member governments. They held little presence within PSony-3 and Primus, showing up only when deemed 'necessary' by the leaders. Such examples include the Terminator Wars, after one of their elites was slain by the machines and the Home Lands were being laid to waste. Another example includes The Dark Council; though in both cases it was smaller tasks forces that involved themselves.   A taskforce under Elite Captain 'Tara Frost' was dispatched to the Home Lands to resolve the Warring States conflict after being contacted by various local powers of the realm. More aid was given during the Terminator Wars albeit not much. They did also help relocate people following the Vertex Bomb. Later a task force under Akiro Blackheart went to aid the New Genesis Alliance with the Dark Council, due to several of the council's leaders being highly wanted criminals who held ties to the ancient Celestial Empire. This then involved them with the first Tatara War which saw that task force eliminated as well.   The Federation became directly involved with the 2nd Tatara War and the following Dusk Wars as armies of the unholy and other criminals went up against the UDF directly. Led by Chaos, the 4th heir to Zero, the Tatara had developed technology which turned entire populations into mindless soldiers. These mindless soldiers were then spread out to fight the Federation Forces, and effectively it created a near zombie-apocalypse which had Federation Soldiers killing civilians and their own due to being unable to free them. Several realms were under fire during the 2nd war and it was estimated that well ovr half of the Federation's military force was lost to the Tatara alone, while the following Dusk Wars cleared all but 20% of the Federation.   They have since been dormant and it is estimated that only 30-35% of their former power has been re-realized.  

War of the Great Powers

Following the death of Shadow Blackheart and his commanders + the assassination of the Shadow Dominion's heir months later, the Federation began to prepare for war. With rival orders such as the Legion of the Stars preparing for conflict, the Federation held the belief that war was unavoidable due to the Dominion's shakiness. Fears were proven correct when rebellion from within the Dominions and warfare from rivals beyond began to impact Federation Space. As a result the Federation has declared war on several enemies; though to current day holds neutrality with the Shadow Dominions.
