Tara Azgaur
Tara Azgaur was a leading elite agent of the Federation's Elite Enforcers Unit. While not a 'founding' member of the Federation at that point, as it had existed many MANY centuries before her time- she is known for having helped to shape it through her power as a warrior, her compassion as a leader, and her determination as an individual. She is also exceptionally well known for her rivalry with Zero Blackheart, with the two having been friends before being forced to opposite sides of the board. She was one of the leaders assassinated at the launch-point of the Terminator Wars.
Appearance
Tara was a fairly simple girl, average in the eyes of many due to her humility. She did not dress elegantly even as a Ltn. General and S-Class Warrior of the Federation unless it was part of her duties. Most often she would wear simple attire- a black hoodie or jacket, jeans, boots or tennis shoes, and so forth. She was described as having a fair, yet average. She did however paint her nails at times for 'fun'. Her hair long, black, and conditioned. Sometimes it was cut short to just around half a neck-length at most. Her eyes were described as deep ocean blue, vast and full of life.Personality
She was a kind and compassionate individual, willing to go the extra mile to help those in need. Tara was a brilliant person as a leader and as an individual and always looked to understand others, even her adversaries. She always was willing to place herself in danger, stupid danger even, if it meant protecting the lives of her comrades. She was more than willing to sacrifice her own being for the greater good. She was politically inclined, witty, a negotiator, and always willing to lend an opinion.Abilities
Tara died an S-Class Warrior, one of the first of the Federation and easily one of their strongest ever agents. She was skilled with ice and snow using Spirit Mist- an above_mortal level elemental attack which could do damage on a spiritual level. Her spiritual pressure was vast, enough to allow her to fight another of equal power (Zero) for over a week without stop or rest. Though her skillset was not wild, it was extensive. An elite at hand to hand, able to use her body as a weapon. She used super speed such as Shunpo (Flash Step) with which she could create clones. Often times she would lead with clones in order to estimate the strength of an opponent or the danger of a situation, following up with basic counter spells and attacks. She would focus on binding, negative status, deception. She was capable of several spiritual attacks, including the Kamehameha, she used her arsenal in conjunction with several changes in elemental nature. With the Frost Art she could attack with a nigh-unblockable attack that could one-shot even some of the strongest of fighters, and also defend by hardening both her own body and her aura. Often she would alternate between offensive and defensive uses of each given skillset. Ultimately her most fearsome ability was her Veil of Frost where she could create a cloud of Breath or Nitrox Ice, capable of freezing most anything aside from the counter of Dragon Art Dying Breath. Using this Veil she could maintain a solid defense around her being akin to the Respira Technique. To a degree she could also heal both herself and her allies by injecting them with her own energy. Tara was also capable of casting and breaking various mental attacks such as Genjutsu and mind control. Of course it did not end here as she could also engage with Cosmic Sage Mode, taking in the energy of the universe around her to greatly bolster her physical capabilities. And with this she could also use Soul Slaying. Her energy, dubbed post-Terminator Wars, was known as Hope Energy and was described as a force and energy she personally experimented upon. It was created in order to counter the Chaos Energy of Zero Blackheart and the Negative Energy of Corus. Able to neutralize negative properties such as the corrupting nature and to some degree even reverse it. At her full power her hair was noted for turning white whilst her eyes became more of a crystal-like sky blue. Her skin also became more pale, and ice would begin to collect around her. She could also summon white wings to fly upon, sometimes also coated in a layer of ice as an armor/protection.History
Federation Years
Originally a representative of her clan within the Mephisto Empire, her early life was spent as an aid to the ambassador to the Empire. During her time among the Imperials she met and befriended Zero Blackheart, then known as Adrian Valmont. She would spend the next few years of her life on joint missions of relation to her own people AND those of the Empire. From this young age she had proven herself to be an elite among even the elites of the Mephisto, comparable to Class-A fighters on the high end and ranking in at around B-Class. These early life missions are stated to be what eventually shaped her leadership skills. By the time she was 16 she had earned a reputation as the "Frost Princess" for her efficiency on the battlefield. Eventually these skills would be used against Adrian, dubbed Zero by then, who had used his own powers to erase the Mephisto Empire. A battle would ensue between them, one in which neither side would properly win. Zero would flee and Tara would be reassigned to join the Federation. She quickly rose through the ranks. While her power carried her as an elite warrior- her leadership is what propelled her quickly to the rank of Lieutenant, then to Captain, to Major, and so forth. In a bid to save lives during a time when the Federation held few magically-capable warriors, Tara pushed for the establishment of the Rated Rank System to define different missions under the E thru A Classifications, and later the S-Class. Upon becoming a Colonel, Tara joined other leaders of the Federation in pushing for the creation of a specialized sect of the military branch which specialized in Magic-Capable Warriors, preaching of its effectiveness for the Mephisto and how it could save many more lives and quickly resolve conflicts. As one of the first S-Class Warriors and a Director- Tara was granted the overview, authority, and ability to mold the Special Forces Unit which eventually would be dubbed Project Star Light. With command of Star Light, albeit not solo, Tara was able to accomplish much more within the Federation and even alter the direction of the body overall. Thanks to the project the Federation was able to pull out soldiers and weaponry from work sites, instead placing in their own specialized agents. And with the reputation boost due to the Federation allowing for more financial aid spending, Tara was eventually propelled to a leading position within the Federation as a whole second only to the top brass ranks and the congress itself- albeit with tremendous influence regardless. She would be hailed as responsible for several successful campaigns and conflicts over the course of her career. She would personally oversee several operations during the final years of her career and life, with the last of which being a campaign against the Warring States of the Home Lands. At long last her target was Zero Blackheart, now an accomplished individual within the rival faction of the Shadow Dominions. It was the final battle and defeat of Zero + her subscenquent mercy & negotiations that opened the path for the Federation and Dominions to work together to accomplish many more things. This union while it would one day go forward, short lived as it would be, was done without her presence. In the wanning hours of the Warring States and the turn of the Terminator Wars, during a conference within the Winter Villa of the Home Lands, Tara would be assassinated by the agents of Former Demonic Arms Scientist 'Midori'.Legacy
Tara would leave behind an impressive legacy; though disaster would forever tarnish what she left behind due to her early demise. Her decision to let Zero live led to the rise of the Terror of Chaos in the future. This was Zero's support of the eventual Dark Council, the 1st and 2nd Tatara Wars, and involvement in the Dusk Wars which would nearly collapse the whole of the Federation. Atop this, the alliance of the Dominions and the Federation would fall by the time of the 1st Tatara war, with the Dark Council Era souring relations due to Zero becoming an enemy of the Feds. As of the modern day the Federation has lost much of its power and the structure that Tara had helped forge, instead now becoming a useless circle of bureaucracy and greed. Still, her memory has not yet died out. Many, such as Alexander Blackheart, still acknowledge her accomplishments and what she had attempted to create. She is still viewed as the gold standard of what it meant to be a Uniter.Character Facts
