Aegis Segura

Aegis Segura is an agent of the Shadow Dominions and a part of the 242nd Task Force's Dusk Squadron. He was created by Dr. Samantha Crowell's Research & Development Team at least over a decade ago, with it being unknown how many bodies he has gone through since his creation. Aegis is presumably a powerful fighter given his assignment to not only the elite Chaos Battalion of the 242nd- but also being placed specifically in Dusk Sqaudron. He is stated to have been the Ltn Commander of the squad.   He is remarked as an exceptionally loyal warrior; though is also noted as being highly unorthodox for being a synthetic being.  

Appearance & Equipment

Due to being synthetic he does not age. He does possess the ability to download his mind into new bodies. His current body is slightly taller than the average individual, with his exact age being hard to guesstimate. His skin is abnormally pale, with standout features being the gold teardrops or blood trails running from his eyes down his face, and his black lips. His hair is a synthetic midnight blue with ash-black streaks layered throughout, somewhat messy and mid-length. His eyes are complex- mulberry purple sclera, silvery-white iris, golden crosshair pupils.   Currently Aegis wears form fitting armor tailored to his fighting style for both flexibility and mobility. He wears a black body glove over the entirety of his body save his head with armor plates over top. Pearl-Moonwhite plates preside over mostly vital areas such as his chest but are limited as to not hamper his mobility. Shoulder guards, knee guards, elbow guards, chest and mid-section. It is lightweight despite being very durable. The trim on the outside of the plates is gold. A magenta phoenix is engraved on a section of the chest plate.   From here he will often equip various gadgets, such as collapsible wings stored in a pod that may go on his upper back. These wings are light sail wings, akin to bat wings, and contain mini thrusters to grant lift and flight. The main frame of the wings is the same color as his armor plates while the sails are black like the body glove.   A small box, a Personal Shield Generator, clings to his front chest plate and can activate upon a thought to project a small bubble. He has boots that hold thrusters, granting flight without wing deployment, as well as blades and projectiles that can be launched.   He has gauntlets that each serve different functions. The right gauntlet can project an energy scythe of golden energy that extends another arm length, flames, electrical discharge, and it has a small screen to project information. The left gauntlet is able to project a circular energy shield of golden energy, project pressure blasts, knuckles lined with mini-projectiles that can be launched. Both can be disengaged from the armor with a verbal command or manual removal.   His utility belt has various weapons and gadgets and pouches. The belt itself has a homing device built into the buckle which can also transmit sound and video feedback to command. Often he will have blasters equipped and his signature curved-hilt laser sword. He may also have a retractable staff or rod for melee combat, not just the sword.   To top all of this he may wear one of several outfits atop.

Personality

Aegis is defined as contained chaos. He can range greatly in both attitude and approach to situations pending the circumstances. He is well and capable of acting normal though usually acts emotionless and cautious. He has a preference for being unorthodox and unpredictable to throw off even his allies. He can be passive, he can seem bored, and he can seem like an unhinged edgelord demanding blood.   At the end of the day he is very aware of what he is and what his actions mean, in a rational sense. He is not one to act on violence unless it is justified. He prefers observation, opting to use cunning to solve problems- both in combat and diplomacy. He also has a habit of making notes of the most minimal of things, including the timings of peoples normal functions.   Any variation in a person's approach to the day, be it as minimal as the times they drink water or go to the bathroom or even if they twirl their pen 10 times vs 8. He marks these minor components of a person as a means to understand them and to know if anything is out of the ordinary to some unnatural degree that can't be explained proper.   Above all though he is loyal- particularly to the one he calls master. While he is loyal to his comrades, he understands that sacrifices are essential at times and would not hesitate to sacrifice himself if the situation called for it; though he is not one to throw people away unless the end point is truly warranted.  

Abilities

Aegis is skilled in melee combat, be it weapon to weapon or through martial arts. He is trained to take on multiple opponents at once and can certainly fend off a squad of non-magic soldiers. He uses his speed and flexibility rather than trying to overpower or outlast an opponent. As far as what options he has, it all depends on the equipment he brings in- which varies greatly.   His primary weapons are the nanites that he stores on his person at all times. These nanites may be inside of his synthetic body or clothes, and they are capable of rapidly multiplying given proper materials to 'consume' in a pinch. These nanites are bound to him via his own core, containing a logic-virus that can easily recognize if a user is Aegis or not or if they are authorized. Think of it best as a mental connection or spiritual connection. The nanites are seen able to upgrade themselves and take on a numbert of tasks, their potential being limited only by Aegis's own imagination.  

History

Aegis has served the Shadow Dominions for quite some time. No one is certain how many synthetic bodies he has gone through, as mandatory upgrades and damage from battle will have a Synthetic Individual constantly replacing parts. He has served with the 242nd for years, particularly within the Chaos Battalion under Commander Dalton.  

War of the Great Powers

He was present at the battle of Enaxes in 44 A.H. and later was at the Galvenak Asteroid Outpost 226 of the Kaznian Sector.
