Keystone Is mostly inhabited by tradesmen and laborers. However there is a small population of nobility, mainly the Doran’s family, and scholars in Keystone.

Defences
Keystone has few fortifications itself, although they do have a wooden wall encircling a majority of the town and several watch towers.
As opposed to static fortifications Keystone employees a unit of highly trained soldiers supplemented by regulated civilian militia. City guard are normally formed from volunteers under the combat of soldiers.
The soldiers of Keystone are normally reserved to use on important rescue missions, escorts or scouting into the Wilds.

Inside Keystone several factions battle for power and influence over the town.
The most influential faction in Keystone is @Aaron Swords, a group of knights staunchly loyal to the new king Aaron Imar. Members of this order were put into prominent positions throughout the kingdom after King Aaron deposed his father. They serve the crown by rooting out individuals or groups loyal to the old king.
Anothet prominent group is the Explorers Guild. The collective of adventures that push the boundaries of the know world, exploring ancient ruins and uncovering powerful artifacts.

History
Keystone was established after the defeat of a Goblins outpost that was hampering supply lines to and from neighboring nations. It quickly became an important trade town and eventually was made into the seat of a new Doran and given to the Talmar family.
