Tir Na Nog
What's a factory to one who can conjure matter out of thin air?
"Some say that we became lost when the Tuatha left us. Those people clearly do not see where our country is now. We sit at the top of the magical world, and no one can match our reagents...Are we lost? Don't be ridiculous."
-Loch-Tender Lachlann MacCeasain

History
A country created by gods that haven't been seen in millennia, but defined by the cottage industry it built around magical reagents, Tir Na Nog stands as one of the modern great nations.
No one could have guessed where Tir Na Nog would end up when the The Tuatha De Dannan first fell into our world. Nor that it would even exist. And they did fall, by the way, into the world. According to some of the oldest legends, the Tuatha were not born like other gods but arrived from a dying world. What killed that world is a subject of much debate, but is ultimately irrelevant to the nation's formation, so we shall discuss it another time.
The Tuatha De Dannan took to our world immediately, striding across the world to hunt, fight, and make merry in their new playground. Of course, actions like this put them at odds with the already established nations of our world, but their skill in battle was often worth the legendary revelry that followed every hunt and engagement. According to the legends, many famous creatures, monsters, and divine beings were brought down by the Tuatha; such as the Akeshian Viper, Svartel Light Eater, and the God-Bear of Gallent, and many many more. All hunts must end, however, and eventually, the head of the family, Dh'fhaodadh and his wife, Breabadaira, the Hearth Keeper decided to settle down. Leaving their friends and relatives, they found themselves at the foot of the Spine of the World, a lone mountain in the Fionnghal Highlands. And that is where they built their home.
Founded in the Age of the Divine, Tir Na Nog got its start with a simple home built by divinity. Dhaichaig. That home, though mortal people would call it a palace or a fortress, became the heart of the capital of Tir Na Nog, while also giving it its name. Once their home was built Dh'fhaodadh and they settled in, other gods grew tired of the hunt and joined them. In turn, their human followers also settled there. Over time and generations, what was once a home on top of the mountains grew into a hamlet, then a city, and finally the metropolis it is today.
And then they vanished. In 884, the Age of the Divine, the Tuatha De Dannan left without a trace. Their temples and homes left abandoned, In their place, a group claiming to speak for them arose, the Council of Speakers.
In recent years, Tir Na Nog has...fallen behind the technological curve. Not so much as the Sidhe Courts but much of their industry is in dire need of modernization. Their reagent industry keeps them afloat, but other nations are at risk of overtaking them through the sheer size of their industrial might. To stir the pot further, there are rumors of a man claiming to be one of the Tuatha De Danna have surfaced. No one seems to know who, or what he is, nor can they confirm if the man himself is even real. If he exists, then there are several people who would like to ask him very hard questions. If his claims prove truthful, then the church of the Tuatha is in for a mighty shake-up.

Territories
Close ties to the Summer Court, of the Sidhe Courts, has allowed Tir Na Nog to station some of it's assets within the territory of the Sidhe Courts. Even establishing a few 'Tuathain Districts' within cities.
Military
The Caismeachd: The standard soldier of Tir Na Nog, the Caismeachd are equipped for long campaigns. They are, however, lacking in the modern protective gear that other modern forces have to keep their soldiers in the fight.
The Spears of Crìsdean: Considered the best of the best, the Spears of Crisdean got their start as the bodyguard of a Tuathain war god that gave them their name. That reputation still follows them to this day, and inspires the soldiers that fight at their sides.
Education
Only the upper crust of Tuathain society is educated in a general sense. However, it is not that there is no education available, but it is not viewed as a priority by the lower class, who spend their time hunting, gathering, or growing. No time for book learning.
Infrastructure
Roads have yet to be paved anywhere but the largest Tuatha cities. The highlands that makeup the majority of the Tuatha homeland make it hard to construct things such as railroads. However, many game trails crisscross the wilds
