Lurael Aurum

Though Lurael Aurum shies away from the title of goddess, her influence extends across divine domains that reflect her essence and power. As the Bubble Genie Empress, she reigns supreme over bubbles, commanding their creation, form, and purpose. Her bubbles are not mere soap and air, but vessels of magic; Unpoppable, transformative, and capable of reshaping reality itself.   Lurael’s domain also encompasses dancing, particularly the art of harem dances and styles designed to allure and enchant. She is a master of movement, using dance not just for entertainment, but as a tool of seduction, celebration, and even subtle manipulation. Her performances are legendary, drawing others into her world of pleasure and play.   Above all, Lurael embodies pure magical prowess. Her power is nearly unmatched, a force of creation and control that bends the laws of her realm and beyond to her will. Whether through her scepter, Spherya, or her own innate abilities, she wields magic with effortless authority, making her a figure of awe and reverence.

Lurael has the body of a Bubble Genie, able to switch between having a genie tail or legs. Her exact measurements and size changes based on her needs and moods. She has striking crystal blue eyes, which are bigger than for most mortals. Her long, voluminous hair is bound in a ponytail. Her ears are of elven nature, long and sharp.

Lurael has all abilities of a Bubble Genie and additionally full control over her Shimmering Palace. Her magic prowess is far beyond all other bubble genies and on the level of a playful trickster god.

Bubble Scepter - Spherya

Spherya is the golden scepter of Lurael Aurum, an artifact of unparalleled elegance and power. Crafted from pure gold and adorned with deep blue sapphires, it shimmers with an otherworldly radiance. At its apex sits a blue orb, perpetually glowing and engraved with intricate golden patterns. The orb pulses with a soft, ethereal light, as if alive with the magic it commands.   With a mere gesture, the scepter can summon, shape, and control bubbles at will. These are no ordinary bubbles: they are unpoppable, infused with Lurael’s magic, and capable of feats beyond mortal comprehension. Whether forming protective barriers, ensnaring intruders, or reshaping reality within the Shimmering Palace, Spherya bends to Lurael’s every desire.   The scepter is rarely far from Lurael’s grasp, a constant reminder of her sovereignty. To touch Spherya without her permission is considered a grave offense, though Lurael’s punishments for such audacity are often as playful as they are severe. Those who dare to reach for it without her leave may find themselves wrapped in a whirlwind of bubbles, transformed, or even absorbed into the scepter's orb.

Origin

The exact time and place of Lurael Aurum’s birth remain unknown, but historical fragments suggest she was originally named Gold Linaric and hailed from a parallel world. Gold Linaric was the ruler of a vast, unnamed empire, a sovereign whose power and ambition knew no bounds. Her reign took a fateful turn when she acquired an artifact of unimaginable power: a genie bottle. Driven by greed and the desire to harness the genie’s Magic for herself, Gold attempted to claim the genie’s power.   However, the genie outmaneuvered her, using Gold’s own magical bubble scepter, the most potent symbol of her rule, to transform her into something entirely new. The fusion of the scepter’s magic and the genie’s power unleashed a catastrophic event. Gold Linaric was engulfed in a colossal bubble, forever altering her form and identity. She emerged as Lurael Aurum, the first Bubble Genie, a being of immense magical prowess. The transformation did not stop with her; the magic radiated outward, consuming the bodies and souls of every inhabitant in her empire. They, too, were reborn as bubble genies, bound to Lurael’s will.   The scepter, now her vessel, birthed the Shimmering Palace, a pocket dimension where Lurael and her subjects were trapped. The genie, however, had underestimated Lurael’s cunning. By her command, the genie was also imprisoned within the Shimmering Palace. The genie’s ultimate fate remains a mystery, though many speculate that Lurael transformed her into one of the countless trinkets that populate her realm. Over time, Lurael and her subjects came to believe that they had always been bubble genies and that the Shimmering Palace was their eternal home.  

Times of Entrappment

Lurael’s magical scepter existed simultaneously in two realms: within the Shimmering Palace as a symbol of her rule and in the material world as her anchor. How the scepter found its way to Bardor is unknown. Though Lurael herself could not escape her prison, she could send enchanted accessories into Bardor. Each of these items was imbued with magic that would guide its finder to her vessel, ensuring that she would one day regain her freedom. For centuries, these accessories have been scattered across Bardor, waiting to be discovered. Over many years, these items were found and lost again, sealed in vaults or used as symbols of power. Eventually, however, each got into the hands of a fateful person who fulfilled Lurael's design and brought the accessory back to her vessel. The genie rewarded these people by inviting them to her realm and transforming them either into bubble genies, harem dancers, or simply into immortal servants to her empire.  

Modern Time

The final piece of Lurael’s plan fell into place when Sir Bernard, a knight of the Teuhali Order, obtained the last missing accessory: a bracelet. Obsessed with the legend of Lurael Aurum, Sir Bernard led six of his knights deep into the desert, where they uncovered her vessel. The moment they touched it, they were pulled into the Shimmering Palace, coming face-to-face with Lurael or one of her genie servants.   Sir Bernard’s fate was unique. As the bearer of the last accessory, he was rewarded by Lurael, who transformed him into her twin and daughter at the same time, Luna Aurum. Bubble Genies have no family relationships like mortals. With all her accessories reunited, Lurael had gathered enough anchor points from the material world to break free from her confinement. Now unbound, she roams the world, eager to collect new toys, playmates, and subjects for her ever-expanding genie empire.

She despises resistance, seeing it as a direct challenge to her authority, and those who dare to oppose her often find themselves wrapped in her playful yet inescapable punishments. Thieves and opportunists who attempt to claim what is hers, whether treasures, subjects, or even her domain, earn her swift and creative wrath.   While she enjoys moments of affection, such as cuddling, it is a privilege granted only at her discretion. She delights in the company of her harem, reveling in harem dances and joyful gatherings within her bubbles, where laughter and indulgence fill the air. However, her patience vanishes instantly if someone dares to sit on her throne or touch her scepter, Spherya, without permission. Such audacity is met with immediate and unforgettable consequences, a reminder that in her realm, Lurael’s word is law.

While, as an immortal Genie, she has no family ties like a mortal, she still sees Luna Aurum as her twin and daughter at once, referring to either of these depending on the situation.

She dismisses the notion outright, though she tolerates, and even seems amused by, those who playfully address her as the God-Empress. To Lurael, the concept of gods holds no authority over her. She views them not as superior beings, but at most as equals.   Despite her own indifference to worship, Lurael imposes no restrictions on her subjects. She allows them the freedom to pray to gods and goddesses as they wish, seeing their devotion as a personal matter rather than a challenge to her rule. In her realm, faith is a choice, but loyalty to her is absolute.
