Luna Aurum

Luna has the typical abilities of a Bubble Genie.

Knight Life

Luna Aurum was born Bernard Kummer on August 27, 1973, in the modest town of Sonnenburg, the son of simple blacksmiths. Raised in the traditions of the Teuhali Order, Bernard learned the weight of a sword almost as soon as he could walk. His skill and discipline earned him a place in the Blue Knight Order of Ebnentor at the age of 16.   By 22, Bernard had already proven himself in battle. During a skirmish in the Birnvorland hills, he saved several younger soldiers from plundering bandits, earning his knighthood and the title Sir Bernard. His reputation as a brave and capable warrior grew, but fate had other plans. In 2008, at the age of 35, a severe arm injury forced him into early retirement. Returning to Sonnenburg, he dedicated himself to training younger soldiers, and it was during this time that he became obsessed with the legend of Lurael Aurum.   In 2012, Bernard inherited his parents’ estate, including a peculiar golden bracelet, unbeknownst to him, one of Lurael’s lost accessories. For years, he researched the legend, driven by an unshakable belief in its truth. Finally, in 2025, he gathered six trusted knight companions and set out to find the Bubble Genie Empress.  

Meeting Lurael

Bernard’s quest led him and his men deep into the Sahiri Desert, between the Konos River and the city of Laza Akakesh. There, they discovered Lurael’s vessel. The moment they touched it, they were pulled into the Shimmering Palace, Lurael’s pocket dimension. Bernard had to learn that his men were either transformed into Bubble Genies or trapped inside bubbles by Lurael and her servants. But Bernard had something Lurael desired: the golden bracelet. Offering it to her as a gift, he earned her favor. Lurael reshaped him into Luna Aurum, her twin-daughter and a Bubble Genie in her own right.  

Genie Life

Luna adapted quickly to her new existence. Immortality, boundless magic, and the endless wonders of the Shimmering Palace were hers to explore. Time flowed differently in Lurael’s realm, giving Luna all the time she needed to learn from her mother and hone her powers.   Before long, Luna began to assert her own presence in the material world. She materialized her own vessel, delighting in the role of a genie for mortals. With playful cunning, she lured many of her temporary masters and mistresses into the Shimmering Palace.

Luna Aurum operates under a simple yet unyielding principle: power gives right. As the twin-daughter of Lurael Aurum, she believes her status grants her the freedom to act as she pleases, so long as her actions do not anger her mother or violate the Codex of the Bubble Genies.   For Luna, mortals are little more than entertainment. While her interactions with them can be extremely beneficial, granting wishes, bestowing riches, or offering protection, her concern for their well-being is fleeting. She is cold and indifferent to their fates, viewing their joys and sufferings as mere background to her own amusements. Luna seeks her own benefit and joy above all else, and the world exists to serve her whims.   Yet, there is a method to her caprice. Those who play into her games, keep her in good spirits, and follow her whims often find themselves richly rewarded. Luna is generous to those who amuse or please her, showering them with gifts, magic, or even allowing the mortals to become more, to be granted the reward of becoming a Bubble Genie and with that, immortality. Another reward she offers to those she likes is to become part of her harem and to serve her in her palace.   Crossing Luna, however, is a dangerous gamble. Those who anger her risk becoming nothing more than a new trinket in her collection, perhaps a bracelet, a bubble-bound plaything, or worse. Her punishments are as creative as they are cruel, a reminder that in her world, power is the only law, and she is its enforcer.

Luna Aurum is driven by a desire for fun and an eagerness to please her mother, Lurael. Her playfulness knows no bounds, often leading her to act with reckless abandon, caring little for the consequences others might face. For Luna, life is a game, and she plays it with unleashed enthusiasm, reveling in the chaos and joy her actions create.   Her greatest delight lies in the use of her magic and bubbles, which she wields with both creativity and mischief. Whether trapping others in shimmering spheres, crafting elaborate illusions, or simply bouncing through her own bubble-filled world, Luna finds endless amusement in her powers.   When the mood strikes her, she enjoys making her chosen master or mistress happy, showering them with gifts, magic, and attention. However, this generosity lasts only as long as they remain entertaining. The moment they irritate her, her interest fades, and they risk becoming just another forgotten toy in her collection.

Luna Aurum adores bubbles, cuddling, and the magic she wields with effortless grace. She finds joy in the shimmering worlds her bubbles create, whether she’s floating inside them, playfully trapping others, or simply admiring their beauty. She enjoys masters or mistresses who are captivated by her or her bubbles, as their fascination fuels her own amusement. Luna loves making others happy, but only if they keep her entertained. Those who bore her or make excessive demands quickly lose her interest.   Teasing is one of her greatest pleasures, especially when her targets react with charming fluster or clever comebacks. Luna also adores her mother, Lurael, and takes pride in fulfilling her commands, seeing it as both a duty and a joy. Though her past life as Sir Bernard is distant, she still enjoys fighting, a nostalgic thrill from her knightly days. Yet, she equally loves playing princess in the Shimmering Palace, lounging on her throne, and reveling in the adoration of her court.

Luna sees her Empress Lurael as her mother and twin at the same time. As a genie, she has no real family bonds like mortals, but enjoys acting that way. She does whatever her mother expects of her and always fulfills the missions she is given with her utmost care.

Luna Aurum doesn’t adhere to any formal religious beliefs, but she views her mother, Lurael, as a figure akin to a god. To Luna, Lurael’s power, immortality, and dominance over the Shimmering Palace make her something far beyond mortal, or even most divine beings. While Luna doesn’t worship her mother, she acknowledges Lurael’s godlike status with reverence and pride.   In her former life as Sir Bernard, Luna once prayed to Hali, a goddess she still respects and acknowledges as worthy of praise. Though she no longer considers herself a devout follower, she retains a fondness for Hali’s legacy and the traditions of her knightly past. Luna is open to the religious views of others and doesn’t discriminate based on faith. She sees belief as a personal matter, one that doesn’t interfere with her own enjoyment of life.

Luna Aurum is playful, flirty, and effortlessly magnetic, thriving in social settings where she can command attention. She has little regard for personal space, often invading it with a mischievous grin or an alluring gesture, delighting in the reactions she provokes. Her extroverted nature ensures she’s always the center of attention, whether through charm, wit, or sheer audacity.   Her charisma is undeniable, backed by an ego that assumes she’s the most fascinating person in any room, except for the time that her mother is with her in a room. Luna loves to roleplay with her masters or mistresses, adapting her persona to whatever amuses her most. She might slip into the role of a flirty genie, teasing and tempting with every word, or play the big sister, offering guidance with a mix of affection and authority. Other times, she adopts the persona of a little sister, feigning innocence while manipulating the situation to her advantage. If the mood strikes her, she might even take on the air of a snobby genie, acting as though she’s far too grand to acknowledge "lesser beings", only to drop the act the moment it ceases to entertain her.
